27/3/2015 07:41 | Not a bad set of results from Robinson with Madrox trading ahead of expectations. Happy to hold. | battlebus2
30/1/2015 14:54 | Moving the right direction today :)) | battlebus2
30/1/2015 09:28 | provided Maddox puts in 1.5 mill then shares about right on p/E 10 pbt group 2.5 million. | charo
30/1/2015 06:40 | Two sides to this. The share price has halved but I am sure (Unless the figures are really bad) that the value of the business has not halved. Therefore the shares are are bargain. The other side is that it is also important what the market is thinking, and right now I can sense that more people will look at the performance of the share price and decide to sell. If the market as a whole should turn down as well I can guess that while Robinson's business is still worth, say 180p, the shares, under adverse conditions could be at well under 100p. A bargain share - when it has finished falling. | greatfryup
30/1/2015 02:42 | I think they did flag flat underlying business in the six month statement. the 2015 outlook is just an extension of that outlook. EPS around 12p again (with input from recent purchase) maybe up to 15p ? Current price looks fair considering outlook could get worse | briggs1209
29/1/2015 17:41 | Totally disagree i've made handsomely out of RBN and will do again, the spread is not out of the normal. Waiting to buy more when i think it's bottom, to me it's very cheap now but as ever dyor etc.. | battlebus2
29/1/2015 15:38 | From the database - Was he right !! Looks as though it is heading back to the 100p when he posted. Diviner - Thanks for keeping me out - OK Could have possilby made a bit on the rise to 245 but spread far too wide for a possiby 100% gain but suffering an odd 70% loss on the way in 2008. Was looking to see if any value in buying after the current fall but your analysis still hold true (imo) The Diviner - 31 Aug'07 - 19:15 - 21 of 21 I held them for a while; I enjoyed the dividends and I made a small profit when I sold them but the spread is the killer. There may still be value in RBN but they are so hard to trade that it is hardly worth looking for it. The RBN nominal market size is piddling and the buy/sell spread is about 10% so making money out of RBN is not easy. Good wishes to all who still hold. | pugugly
23/1/2015 17:44 | shanklin dyor.strategic report talks about freehold properties around 4,8 mill yielding 10%,all cash reserves paid out to buy maddox plus szloty denominated loans.pension rebates and reduced rental income referred to in interims.dividend paid and poor secondhalf wih likely poor first half 2015 result cash outflow and reduced eps.WHI note based on same sources as previous which has proved unreliable. | charo
23/1/2015 16:17 | Just had a minuscule buy at a touch under 148 as a bit of a medium term punt. | cwa1
23/1/2015 15:12 | charo How about you refer us to the bits of the accounts you want us to read. | shanklin
23/1/2015 13:03 | read the accounts property values reflected in balance sheet.cash resources after paying divs and reflecting secondhalf performance must be very stretched.. | charo
23/1/2015 12:26 | Thanks Shanklin, if they make those targets then these are a buy imv.. but dyor etc | battlebus2
23/1/2015 12:06 | FYI, WH Ireland's morning note includes a forecast PBT for 2015 of £3.2m, which suggests an EPS of over 15p. All IMHO, DYOR. | shanklin
23/1/2015 10:27 | Somehow the land looked much nicer when the big supermarkets were land grabbing. Even if they didn't buy your land they took another rival piece off the market. | greatfryup
23/1/2015 10:10 | Your not mentioning the substantial surplus land value??? When the market cap is only 24 million. | battlebus2
23/1/2015 09:56 | fomela overpaid for the Scottish packaging business which went bust and paid way over the odds for Maddox, the net margin is not sustainable.rental income is down pension fund rebate reducing.fomela should resign or be sacked. | charo
23/1/2015 09:32 | Thanks guys. Be interested to see whether a broker note puts more flesh on the bones. From the RNS it's difficult to form a view. Imagine they have some reasonable order visibility from regular customers -wonder if margins are coming under pressure? I've nearly pressed the buy button on several occasions so guess I got this half right! | meijiman
23/1/2015 09:21 | Yep i'd be waiting to see the next results myself mejiman though as we see they tend to move sharply in either direction. Robinson said its revenue for the year to December 31 is anticipated to be GBP28.1 million, up 20% year-on-year on the back of the integration of Polish packaging company Madrox, which it acquired for GBP13.2 million in February. Underlying revenue for its existing business was flat year-on-year, it said. It expects its profit for 2014 to be in line with market expectations, but the company said it expects 2015 to be a more challenging year, though it said the contribution from Madrox will push total group revenue up year-on-year again. | battlebus2
23/1/2015 09:19 | Meijiman, same boat here, been watching for months. It would have been nice if they expanded on why it will be more challenging. I think I will hold off now. | tintin82
23/1/2015 08:53 | Market decided to focus on the more challenging outlook for 2015. Difficult to call. Madrox would seem to be OK -its more the organic growth ex the acquisition. Be interested in any insights anyone might have as its been on my watchlist for ages -good entry point or wait and see?? | meijiman
23/1/2015 08:12 | Mixed bag this morning with the outlook tough although earnings and revenue will be higher due to the acquisition of Madrox, but as ever this is a long term hold. | battlebus2
01/12/2014 14:08 | Disappointing to see a few selling and the drop back in price over the last few days. Very happy to be a long term holder here. | battlebus2
17/11/2014 15:26 | Ticking up nicely now :)) | battlebus2
17/11/2014 13:59 | MM's making someone pay £2 for 4k shares.. | battlebus2
14/11/2014 17:57 | I'll email you and you can reply. .co.uk works aswell | battlebus2 |
