01/12/2009 15:05 | Why the 6% rise today? Can't see any news. | tinker
23/11/2009 20:51 | Given as a buy by Questor | shauney2
23/11/2009 15:48 | RM now state that the record date is 8 Jan (ie the ex-div date would normally be 6 Jan, as suggested above). | b1ggles
23/11/2009 15:20 | Barclays have the xd date as Jan 6th The spread has narrowed now.. Still look cheap to me. Shares mag had them down as a sell last week on spending cut fears. | shauney2
23/11/2009 09:25 | They forgot to state the xd date. Based on last year, my guess would be 6th Jan, with confirmed pay date of 5th Feb (4.85p). Write a hundred lines "I must state the ex-dividend date in my final results" :o) | evox
23/11/2009 08:34 | predictably on the money. | blunderbuss
23/11/2009 08:08 | Good find Shauney. Confirms my own research of a few weeks ago, when I bought. The birdy was right too. Adj pretax profit 17.9 mln stg vs 16.4 mln stg * Revenue up 20 pct to 346.9 mln stg * Dividend up 6 pct to 6.17p/shr Huge spread first thing but happy to hold | evox
22/11/2009 16:15 | Lets hope your little birdy is right nadamson. Being held down by fears of future cuts in education spending by a Tory goverment. The trader in the FT is looking for a bounce. | shauney2
16/11/2009 14:36 | A little birdy told me that they have just had the busiest summer ever and broke all records. Monday will show if that translated into profits. | nadamson
16/11/2009 13:36 | Yes, it couldn't have been manipulation fror someone to load up prior to (good) results coming soon, because that's illegal ;-) | evox
13/11/2009 09:06 | That was a big tree shake yesterday.Down 15% for a while.Still ended the day down with more buys than sells. | shauney2
02/11/2009 21:41 | I'm hoping before and after! | evox
30/10/2009 21:17 | I couldn't resist buying more today when they dropped below 150.Hoping for a bounce before the results in 3 weeks. | shauney2
29/10/2009 07:59 | Yes, a good time to take advantage of the traditional undervaluing of a good company. | blunderbuss
28/10/2009 21:04 | Good solid buy this one. Put my extra ISA allowance in this week (yes an old git). Expect some very positive stuff on 23/11. Bonus : didn't suffer with the rest of the market this week. | evox
22/9/2009 23:31 | Education IT specialist RM said trading so far this year has been in line with expectations. As mentioned at the time of its interim results on 11 May, the company expects revenue to grow this year as a result of its participation in numerous Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programmes. Additionally, the company's recently acquired US subsidiary Computrac will make a contribution whole the board is also looking for growth in the company's general resources business. 'We are reaching the end of what has been the busiest ever summer period for the RM Group. Our focus at this time of year is on operational delivery, which I am pleased to report is going well in each of our three divisions,' said Terry Sweeney, chief executive of RN Group. The busiest ever summer period for the RM Group and the share price drops. Funny old markets these. Will be adding more before the results in November. This company has no debt to speak of and will most likely increase the dividend again. | shauney2
21/9/2009 16:30 | A trading update is due this week or next.Hoping for news of a positive 4th quarter. | shauney2
27/8/2009 12:07 | They are the market leader for a reason, they're pretty good at what they do - I have no idea from a political point of view but suspect that their rivals are more likely to suffer than them if budget cuts were likely to happen - schools will still need IT refreshes and RM are reliable and have a proven record. | dylanl
25/8/2009 21:30 | regarding health and education, it is difficult to say how RM. will be hit by this, do we have any concrete forecasts for the proposed cut in spending? | byrnedj
25/8/2009 21:29 | any good news on RMs Fy prospects? it seems as though the markets were not too happy with just meeting expectations, but its a good company with secure contracts tied to noncyclical goverment spending (well as non cyclical as is possible anyway!) Any thoughts? | byrnedj
25/8/2009 15:57 | Education should be last on the list but who knows what the next goverment will do. They are getting a good foothold in the USA now and with contracts with the likes of ACCA they have good diversity of pipelines. Their 4th quarter results should be the catalyst for a move. | shauney2
24/8/2009 12:13 | Question:- When the next parliament cuts spending how badly will RM. be hit? | pugugly
09/6/2009 09:23 | Well i did get more on the dip last week then they dipped even further which is always the way. Nice having a thread to myself. | shauney2
15/5/2009 15:01 | Nice steady rise.Looking to buy more if they dip. Isis Concepts seems to be a very good acquisition. | shauney2
11/5/2009 06:28 | Great interims. | shauney2 |
