Riverfort Global Capital is not the same as the listed Riverfort Global Opportunities plc though the latter does sometimes take a portion of the "parent's" deal. However, GUN announcing and RGO not, points to no involvement by the listed company at this stage.

The RNS actually calls RGO a partner

It appears Riverfort have invested in the new media SPAC headed up by John Mahtani but no RNS of how much invested yet? GUN announced their participation this morning.

I thought the RNS was OK.

Profits and NAV likely to be up for 2020.

Looks like it will be a bit more difficult for the structured funding and investments.

As it's mainly talking about 2020 performance, recent gains from PIRI and any gains from PLUTO are still to be revealed.
PIRI share price was 6.25p on 31/12/20 and it's currently 14.5p.
(more than double)
Any potential gains from PLUTO still very much to be quantified.

If the structured funding and investments struggles too much, then they may need to focus more on direct investments.

I guess this is where having more than one string to your bow will come in useful.

Future investments. Ie they don't have any plans to invest more at the moment. Existing ones unaffected.

I’ve just added 134k down here, Pluto from what I’m reading and watching will drive this and PIRI to new highs.

strangely cautius future outlook considering their investments.
Maybe the share price had got a litle ahead of where their mates wanted to buy in.

I am a holder but have to say that the statement was worded badly and gave no grounds for optimism. I thought that it was very strange and not inkeeping with the realities of the opportunities that are out there which are plentiful in my view. All very odd

Excellent profit level achieved. Significant assets increase. But cautious re the opportunities this year.

Profit doubled. Nav 8.8m doesn't include warrants. Mcap 10m. Future not certain in new investments but they still own a lot.
