I have also been waiting to see if there will be an announcement. I'm surprised we have not heard anything before now.

aqp has come back a bit now around the 252p level as i post, so we do have an upside if this deal goes ahead & price stays the same. Question is will aqp drop further over the summer months.In hindsight we were wise to offload/ topslice a few.
wonder what will happen to rdg price if this deadline does pass we never got any news on how much blue ridge actually produced on its 1st smelting
any ideas how long it takes to process & breakdown

"Aquarius is now pleased to announce that it has received an irrevocable undertaking to vote in favour of the Acquisition and the Scheme in respect of 18,423,000 Ridge Shares held by Gold Mountains (H.K.) International Mining Company Ltd (a wholly owned subsidiary of Zijin Mining Group Co. Ltd.). This irrevocable undertaking will lapse if a press announcement pursuant to Rule 2.5 of the Code in relation to Aquarius' firm intention to proceed with the Acquisition is not released by 15 May 2009, or if the Scheme does not become effective, lapses or is withdrawn.

So will AQP BE ISSUING NEWS TODAY OR TOMORROW ?

very good volsung i have a feeling value may come out of this lot after all. Aqp have got a good deal. rdg shareholders never saw in the share price what potential the resources here had. I am hoping the market will value aqp in a totally different light when the merger is complete ,ie i am, hoping value will come out in the share price of aqp for shebas

scoble, I think you get 1 AQP for every 2.75 RDG, RDG at £1 equates to AQP at 275

yes tend to agree i was holding for £1 but with aqp near to £3 no harm in selling a few,, is this the start of the bull run ?lol. i did take some out a few weeks ago & & very pleased with the return on that cash.things have turned around & quite optimistic in fact took the wife to look at a car last week.

Sold 20k this morning. This bull run is getting out of hand and I've always promised myself I'd sell in May and never done it. Will continue to sell a few if it keeps on rising. Still got plenty left for when XTA swoops for AQP

I have a couple of thousand shares... I paid £1.05 for them some time ago.. I am fairly new to all this.. Could someone tell me what to expect this share to go to in say 3, 6, 9, months to a year.. Just concerned with mergers takeovers that I could loose the lot? Regards

on line limits low on the buy side appears 91.19 to buy & 89.31 to sell some indication of how the merger is going should be announced before 15/5
