I don't get it. Why is AQP raising "cash" to buy Ridge? I thought it was a straight swap: 2.75 for 1. Surely AQP just places 40m odd shares and Ridge is no more. End of story?

yes very nice aqp also in the longer term looks strong . rdg online you can get 5k @87.75p & online can sell unlimited amount at 86.60p . I always ask this question is shebas worth anything yet, with nickel starting to rise a little, whether its going to be developed in the short term who knows but as a resource must be worth a few pence on the share price as things stand now, we may be now start to get a reasonable valuation of rdg as the shorters leave

Do not think there are are many shorts in RDG or if any at this time.However there have been some commentators who have highlighted a high short position in AQP and IMHO this could be part of explosive movements in AQP recently as they are covered.Anyway graphs on AQP look good and with Plat looking firm AQP could go a lot higher and it is certainly good for our RDG holdings.

no problem talking of short positions presumably all will have be squared off here when rdg converts to aqp would that be the case if there are shorts on this stock or do they stay open under aqp

That's clarifies the earlier article and I reiterate my stance on PPN. As well as RDG, I also topped those up this morning. I already have a decent holding in PLAA. I still hold some ELR but they stand me at quite a bit more than the current share price Thankfully, not too many.

Just sold it all. I will buy back in if it falls + 10% but with 2.5 trading days in the US before we open again and the biggest rise since the AQP bid was announced I thought why not. I am sure this will rise further as a result :)

AQP will have to be around £3.25 for that to happen, which is quite likely. Like many I topped up early on today at just under 68p.

Ridge now worth 92p. When is everyone going to realise that this deal is "done"? They're just waiting for rights issue to finish and SA competition authorities to give it the green light. Wakey wakey market - we're still 20p behind
