04/4/2009 09:06 | hi metal man i amconsidering a copper play, was reading copper could rise 2010 then level off 2011. See this rdg trade now declared Friday from a Thursday price on 2/4/09. Again part of a block this was executed 24hrs earlier at 10-03AM Thurs morning shown as a sell on advfn it was 64p to buy at 8am Thurs when RDG opened, I reckon a buy large quantity would have taken time for mm to acquire 03/04/09 10:03 65.5 225,000 GLAD THEY AIN'T GOT PLATINUM TO SELL G-20 nations agreed on Thursday that the International Monetary Fund should sell gold from its reserve to help stimulate the world economy. Analysts say the prices may dip further by June once the supply of the precious metal rises due to sale by the IMF. The IMF can sell up to 403.3 tonnes, which is the equivalent of one-eighth of its holdings. Rush-for-Platinum-je | laserdisc
03/4/2009 17:32 | laser When you mentioned mna, is it because you are considering a copper play or, were you interested in them specifically? | the metal man
03/4/2009 16:59 | LOL, have a good weekend and i'll keep taking the medicine | eurofox
03/4/2009 16:51 | Yes, I'm so ashamed to post one thing on GS on your beloved PLAA. Still, at least we have a reason for your actions on RDG/AQP now. I'm amazed you can accuse me of spamming, given your posts on AQP a month or so ago. It shows how shifty you've become. check your blood pressure euro, otherwise GS will blame me forever if you croak it over the weekend. | mangotude
03/4/2009 16:48 | yes, you're right - i may have departed RDG now, but that was after years of support, especially buying in quantity when the price was threatened at its lows over many years and when it came to setting up the PI forum (through francis) and reporting its outcomes until health problems overtook in the last 2 years - and i left because i am upset at what the company is doing now with AQP - i am as entitled as anyone else to come back and see how things are going and to show your colleagues here what you are spamming over other threads have a good weekend | eurofox
03/4/2009 16:40 | Well, yours must be a bit off as well, given you're responding, no? I've never liked GS, but I respected you and your decisions until you tried to take advantage of your reputation and scare people in an utterly dishonest fashion. GS cheerleading you despite allegedly owning shares was the ridiculous part. I seem to remember Metal Man and Doshdabbler among others thought you were acting devious as well. How come your back on this board if RDG is such a shockingly bad investment? | mangotude
03/4/2009 16:38 | why worry about GS or me - you have clearly let us get under your skin - its not good for your blood pressure or inner equanimity | eurofox
03/4/2009 16:33 | give it a rest mangotude, i don't deserve all this adulation ... and trashing the PLAA thread is not the act of a gentleman is it? | eurofox
03/4/2009 16:23 | I thought I might be harsh on Giant Steps, so while I was on hold forever earlier - I did a copy and paste: Giant Steps - 8 Jan'09 - 10:50 - 13726 of 14762 I like the way foxy controls the ridge price, makes it easy to read ! Giant Steps - 19 Jan'09 - 18:23 - 13767 of 14762 well you know the foxy one is a cool contrarian and helps to shape the share price outcome ! Closing prices bid 27p offer 29p Giant Steps - 13 Feb'09 - 12:21 - 13993 of 14762 Well done foxy, although strange to see market gives the deal a low 50p+ value Giant Steps - 13 Feb'09 - 13:18 - 14004 of 14762 foxy, i like "if the deal falls through this will be back to 25p or less in the short term." So your buybacks should be late 30's then ! All the best. Giant Steps - 16 Feb'09 - 13:33 - 14069 of 14762 Crickey foxy, you've played a cool hand here - all the best with your endeavours ( margin money never learns ) Giant Steps - 17 Feb'09 - 08:53 - 14122 of 14762 Well done foxy, your trading skills are worthy of note - prices bid 47p offer 50p Giant Steps - 18 Feb'09 - 15:32 - 14229 of 14762 oh i think the foxy one is allowed a bit of fun, calling the credit crises before many, and now he tip-toes through the mining sector with his savvy trading hat - well done sir. Giant Steps - 19 Feb'09 - 11:44 - 14263 of 14762 foxy, your strategy sell half let the other half run for free looked masterful. What motivation for repurchase at similar levels ? Giant Steps - 19 Feb'09 - 14:05 - 14273 of 14762 Well done foxy, looks like onwards and upwards to 60's Giant Steps - 24 Feb'09 - 09:15 - 14319 of 14762 crickey foxy, you sold your entire holding - thought you were acquiring ;-) well done again, you called it right ! Giant Steps - 26 Feb'09 - 09:50 - 14400 of 14762 in a few days time we'll probably learn that foxy entered in the very low 40's ! Giant Steps - 26 Feb'09 - 10:07 - 14411 of 14762 seems like the foxy comments have been a great contra indicator for some months Giant Steps - 27 Feb'09 - 09:07 - 14430 of 14762 foxy, hope we can rely on your usual signal - prices bid 45p offer 46p Giant Steps - 5 Mar'09 - 11:59 - 14460 of 14762 O/T doshdabbler, perhaps some should adopt the foxy approach and tuck away the low cost PGM producer PLAA, shame the RDG story unfolds this way. Giant Steps - 11 Mar'09 - 08:42 - 14471 of 14762 Hey foxy, thread has gone quiet and t+brigrade have probably departed - normally a good signal to re-enter | mangotude

03/4/2009 15:19 | The following corporate action has taken place on a security that you hold within the Selftrade pooled nominee account. Terms: SCHEME OF ARRANGEMENT Aquarius and Ridge have confirmed that the Implementation Agreement has been signed and Aquarius has agreed to make an all share offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Ridge. Based on the theoretical ex-rights and placing price of the Aquarius shares following the equity capital raising and convertible issuance announced on 26 March 2009, the parties have agreed that there will be no adjustment to the exchange ratio, and therefore Aquarius and Ridge have confirmed that the final exchange ratio is agreed at 1 Aquarius share for every 2.75 Ridge shares. Further information may follow in due course. | mangotude
03/4/2009 14:50 | thanks magnotude just also checked my nominee account but no corporate actions on the account as yet | laserdisc
03/4/2009 14:28 | laser, it was a corporate actions letter by my broker - so if you're getting them by post by your own, i would imagine it should be soon. | mangotude
03/4/2009 13:59 | 5k @ 72p now on plus see the 35k trade declared 1 hr late is part of a block code ok | laserdisc
03/4/2009 13:51 | yes can't even get 2000 on line quote now 71p | laserdisc
03/4/2009 13:46 | Guys Moving now...last chance to get below 70p or below....IMHO. | goldrush
03/4/2009 13:43 | magno i should get something in the post today as i have some share certificates not all in nominee following labs advice, is it the scheme document you have received or are we not up to that stage ? The Acquisition is expected to be subject to the satisfaction or waiver on or before 15 May 2009 of the Pre-Conditions set out in full in Appendix I. Aquarius and Ridge expect to enter into an Implementation Agreement prior to 7.00am GMT on 27 March 2009, pursuant to which Aquarius would agree to announce a firm intention to make the Acquisition (subject to typical terms and conditions for such a transaction), pursuant to Rule 2.5 of the Code, if the Pre-Conditions are satisfied or waived by 15 May 2009. Subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the Pre-Conditions, it is anticipated that the Acquisition would be implemented by way of a Scheme of Arrangement under Part 26 of the 2006 Act. The Scheme would be put to Ridge Shareholders at the Court Meeting and at the General Meeting, which will be convened in due course. The Scheme Document would be posted to Ridge Shareholders within 21 days of satisfaction or waiver of the Pre-Conditions. | laserdisc
03/4/2009 13:10 | IMHO the only reason for share price weakness today is tax gain selling....they only have today....looks a bargain as upside looks good ....again IMHO. Edit...as I spoke.... tick up | goldrush
03/4/2009 12:43 | doshdabbler, please let's not use the lavatorial mangorude expressions | giant steps
03/4/2009 12:34 | The lag is because it is no done deal as Aquarius have stated several times-so far it is only a letter of intent between the two parties that is non-binding on either side. | harryg |
