High margin, high cash generation and massive growth potential.

UK Budget recently extension of the Furlough scheme, grants of up to £18,000 per pub/hospitality premises, zero business rates until the end of June then discounted thereafter, freeze on alcohol tax, and zero VAT on soft drinks and meals. All helps RBG.

They exited the loss making bars, negotiated turnover related rents on some of the remaining premises, and have received business rates relief and government grants. The group is now in much better shape overall to take advantage of reopening. Advance bookings have been promising. Bounce back will be fast.

Supposing it's not a bargain, it's not cheap and it's highly cash consumptive?

Bars reopen for indoor food and drinks on 17th May. Already reopened for outdoors customers last month.

Approaching trendline support. IMHO bargains like RGB are becoming rarer now. Am hoping this is going to start increasing soon.

RBG does not want or need the entire population to turn up at its doors. They wouldn't all fit in.

There will be less chance of mutation once everyone has been vaccinated and the next round of vaccinations if needed will give even broader protection.

Yeah right, so all pubs and bars are finished are they because of covid? Don't think so. Maybe for an extinction event meteor strike but not for covid. People want to go out and socialise big time. We won't see NHS being overwhelmed again now by covid, so increasingly we are all going to have to get on with it. Get the beers in!!

All UK adults will have been vaccinated within a few months. I just think it's a better business now with the loss making bars exited and the others either reopened again or reopening next month. If they get lower footfall they just compensate by having fewer bar staff to reduce costs. Drinks and food are high margin products, and high sales volume products, so it's still a lucrative business model.
