Government scientific adviser Professor Andrew Hayward said the UK "will be more or less back to normal for the summer" with the current inoculation rates. Speaking to BBC Radio 4's Today Programme the professor said the immunisation drive will make a "big difference".

UK 'not wise to play solo on coronavirus vaccine' says Bonell
The expert suggested there will be a "significant" easing of lockdown restrictions once those most at risk take the jab.

He said: "Once the most vulnerable people, particularly those over-50 and those with chronic illnesses, are vaccinated then yes, I think we can see a significant return to normality.

"I think what we'll see is a phased opening up as vaccination levels increase.

"Then we'll be more or less back to normal for the summer, I would imagine."

They were closing loss making bars before, it's not the first time.

There has been massive dilution since the 91p peak. To reach 91p today would be the equiv. of circa 230p pre-dilution

ill take 91p or 230p

"For something safer, see retailer Shoezone (SHOE)."

Any others you fancy spamming across the boards? May as well get it over and done with.

Considering the risk/reward ratio and all the good news, where are the sellers coming from?

buyers will be coming in therefore share price up.

The kids are going to go party mad - RBG has survived and is leaner - good times ahead.

I only hold a small chunk but I still reckon it is a great risk/reward play.

I bought at 9p and more today.

For something safer, see retailer Shoezone (SHOE): Maintained and increased online sales during lockdown, and could recover from 52p to around 200p once the shops reopen very soon.

It's a complete castle built of sand. Most of the big pubco's can ride it out because a substantial part of their portfolios are freehold assets. Less than 1% of RBG's property "assets" are freehold. 55% are short leases (i.e. liabilities, not assets) and 44% is Fixtures, Fittings and Furniture which are all but worthless in reality.

I bet the insti's who turned down the £2 bid for 'undervaluing' the company are kicking themselves now!

There has been massive dilution since the 91p peak. To reach 91p today would be the equiv. of circa 230p pre-dilution, not a short term possibility. That's without even thinking of borrowings and deferrals.

"Last bid was..." in another era.
