They just exited six loss making bars, so will emerge from lockdown in April/May fighting fit and stronger. This could be an epic recovery stock.

Agreed, as far as UK recovery stocks are concerned this is one of the last hospitality shares that has yet to see the V-shape rebound that the likes of wetherspoons and greggs have enjoyed last year, the R rate has dropped and infections are falling, there will be no justification not to return to tier systems in March as long as the 15 million target is reached by then (certainly won't be mid Feb) and hopefully going into summer, a return back to the mid 40s, either way this is my position and I'm more than happy to top up and hold.

Jeez

Someone dumped 5m shares at 15p, nearly 30pc below market price. They must have panicked big time, no one in their right mind takes that sort of dump. No doubt we'll find out who tomorrow. Executed through Fincap, who were way off the bid/offer spread all day - that would be why since it looks like they did a bought deal

I've done some analysis and conlcuded that at steady state, Revs should be doing c £15m EBITDA. Knock off a couple of mill for recurring capex, and a multiple of 7x to a net £13m and you have an EV of c£90m. Assuming back to trading by end of May, net debt will be around £20m and then assume another £3m for working capital ramp up, let's say net a conservative £25m, which gives and equity value of 90-25 = £65m or just over 50p/share. Knock off what you like for risk of delayed opening, time to ramp up etc, then 30-35p looks reasonable fair value for today. 18p is a bargain in that case. Interestingly, MAB has gone up 30pc and Revs down 30pc since MAB announced they needed to raise cash 3 weeks ago.

Read across from today's trading statement from MAB... Revs are up to their debt limit by end of March. No rev for revs. At which point equity will have zero value... good luck with another rescue rights issue when the major investors are spivvy individuals without more cash to punt.

Oh and Deltic, as it turned out, got sold for less than the value of its HSBC loan, so its investors and all other creditors were wiped out.

While in a normal market Revs at £10m EBITDA (in 2022/3?) - their one broker has a presposterous EBITDA forecast of £17m - should be a £60m market cap business, all the value today is transferring daily to the debt so whoever owns the keys at the time when non Covid trading finally resumes will do very nicely. However that won't be today's sharehoders

Err no. Net debt of £19.5 million in mid December and forecast during lockdown to increase by 400k a week.

I expect people are queuing up to buy a company that is in debt has no assets and no revenue.

You may have missed the point. If they price the options at ten a penny what does that tell you they think the shares could be worth? As no actual performance is required, that seems to confirm that they feel performance is outside of management's control.

A binary bet on survival?

"Grant of Options"
"Revolution Bars Group plc announces that on 24 December 2020, its Remuneration Committee agreed to grant options under the Revolution Bars Group plc Performance Share Plan (the "Plan") with an exercise price of GBP0.001 per share over 1,035,115 ordinary shares of GBP0.001 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") (the "PSP Options") to directors and other persons discharging managerial responsibility ("PDMRs") as set out in the table below."

OK, so let's see..., it's a Performance Share Plan and the options are priced at ten a penny. Umm...

Gypsy,

I’d love to be able to agree with you but then we’d both be wrong.

I’ll look forward to re-reading your post in 3 to 6 months time.

Have a good Xmas, hopefully someone will buy you a business book or two.
