Am a bit surprised that BlackRock have retained their short position following the results (which looked good imv). I suspect this is weighing on sentiment as we are almost back to the share price that applied pre-results.

Not wrong with a wee larrff 11, city boys trade shares too don't they, markets not exactly rosy are they, but if you're real concerned about Charlie boy mail him or ring him.

He's a rare breed that actually tolerates p.i questions, providing you're polite ;) usually forthright in his answers too for good measure. I've only a modest holding here now, probably should sell em, but I kind of like to keep a few, just to keep me interested.

Just having a wee larrff.

Why has this done this.

Nothing has changed, the market is still there, the finance Fromm the city boys is still there.

What has happened, not a trick question.

Come back.

As I understand it, this company was started by the city boys, and Charlie was put in to run it.

This company was the turnaround baby of Lord Ashcroft, he dragged it off the floor with his Investment vehicle, once owned 87%. He put Slater in and it was following identical growth path to Impellam from memory.

Couldn't fathom at the time why he opted to sell down from 46% to go under 3% holding for a reported measly £10m profit. Dont know whether he still holds now, either way Skinner said at the time it was Geraldton shareholders had to thank, they backed the turnaround to sell to the institutions.

Skinner hasn't put a foot wrong in my eyes, unless you want a fast buck.

Stonking numbers - of course you have to take exceptionals so the unadjusted doesn't look as the adjusted (which look amazing) - these boys are really very good at M&A!

The problem is the debt, up from 22 to 30.

But, I guess, from the results, we can service it.

As I understand it, this company was started by the city boys, and Charlie was put in to run it.

This has meant that finance has never been a problem, they city boys lend themselves the money, charge interest, and get the growth in their shares.

Even if there was some sort of downturn (which there is not) they would sort something out. Very stupid to shaft your own shares.
