07/3/2018 22:31 | Very deep pockets currently and reportedly eyeing up a batch of Loch Fyne sites from Greene King, to convert to B&P Pub Restaurants. Visited their new Cheltenham site (old courthouse) on Sunday. Interesting to see it virtually full when we arrived at 12:15 and then turning people away shortly after. This is of course, the former Jamie Oliver’s site, which he closed last year because it was losing money! An interesting barometer of what the casual dining customer is looking for! | adobbing

07/3/2018 16:25 | The business continues to generate strong free cash flow, with GBP84.9m in 2017. Given our continued confidence in our plan, the Board is proposing the payment of a final dividend of 10.6 pence per share to be paid on 5 July 2018 to all shareholders on the register on 8 June 2018 (ex-dividend date 7 June 2018). The total dividend for the year is, therefore, maintained at 17.4 pence per share. The Board will continue to assess the dividend based on progress against our plan. | lucicavi
07/3/2018 09:13 | Have to say these results are a lot brighter than I was expecting. At least RTN are profitable. I wasn't too hopeful about that. And debt has fallen sharply which is a good sign. I think they should have cut the div, which is barely covered, but as long as FCF continues to increase (up 9.5% on 2016) maybe they can afford to sustain it. Hope the better news can continue. | bend1pa
05/3/2018 18:16 | Survival of the fittest. The more capacity that is taken out of the market, the stronger the remaining participants become. | adobbing

02/3/2018 10:26 | Hope this is the last of the snow for this year, as trading stalls, no overhead contribution, results plummet! | steelwatch100
01/3/2018 11:11 | Lower down the scale, The Restaurant Group ticked up 2p to 244½p amid suggestions that it may be interested in some of the Loch Fyne outlets being offered for sale by Greene King, up 11½p at 532¾p, for conversion to its own Brunning & Price gastropub brand. This would be a fantastic opportunity to scale up what is probably the most successful part of the business! | adobbing
22/2/2018 09:16 | Okay, turnaround in the underlying business on the way, maybe, but what about the stock? Set to get worse before it gets better? Why buy at this particular point? | investopia
21/2/2018 23:16 | No turn around under way buy here | nw99
21/2/2018 11:07 | Lower lows to come here, I'm guessing. Anyone agree? | investopia
19/2/2018 12:11 | Another good addition to the pipeline of new site openings for Brunning and price This 17th century Solihull farmhouse is to be transformed into a pub and restaurant Company behind Birmingham bar The Physician is hoping to renovate listed farmyard complex A listed former farmhouse which dates back to the 17th century is set to be transformed into a new pub and restaurant by the company that runs Birmingham bar The Physician. Brunning & Price, which specialises in converting historic buildings into pubs, is behind the plan to breathe new life into Tidbury Green Farm in Earlswood, near Solihull. Four buildings on the site, including a cowhouse, pigsties and barns, were all awarded grade II-listed status in 2016 and these will all now be renovated. There will also be a 58-space car park and the new venue is expected to create 40 full- and part-time jobs. | adobbing
16/2/2018 11:35 | In a nutshell The Old Courthouse, the new Cheltenham pub restaurant which replaces Jamie’s Italian, offers a laidback blend of drinking, dining and socialising in a unique building we’re pleased to see re-open. Superior to nearby town centre chains, it’s sure to become a popular day and night-time destination. Try the Asian salad, a game of Scrabble and its impressive selection of real ales. Is The Old Courthouse a pub or restaurant? Both! Owners Brunning & Price describe its growing collection of ‘pub restaurants’ as ‘informal places for people who like to meet, eat, drink and talk in a relaxed friendly atmosphere’. And its first opening in the south west fits this perfectly. Would Jamie approve? Offering a totally different approach to Jamie’s Italian, with not a pasta dish in sight, The Old Courthouse is a cool, relaxed and casual addition to the social scene on this side of Cheltenham and a great choice whether you’re looking for somewhere to meet for coffee, have a lunch date or start a big night out. While we can’t vouch for what the naked chef would make of the new Cheltenham venue, the SoGlos team thinks it’s pretty pukka. SoGlos loves The Old Courthouse is certain to become one of the best town centre drinking destinations for ale fans in particular, with an impressive selection on tap. It was great to see local choices from Hillside, Battledown, Prescott and Wye Valley breweries – and we loved seeing the ‘beer miles’ displayed on the blackboard too. | adobbing

15/2/2018 11:42 | Another potential new site for the B&P Pipeline “Members at the meeting heard that pub operator Brunning and Price is in negotiations to buy the premises, which is currently owned by Devizes-based brewery Wadworth, and reopen it as a pub.“ | adobbing
