You shat in your shoes over the last year many times liquid. Notably on Purple Bricks and Allied Minds. You don't know what you're doing, do you?

Can't see how the 2017 cinema box office is going to turn around F&B this year as there just isn't any suitable movies for their target demographic.

Here's what your typical dinner & a movie nuclear family has to look forward to:

Calendar:
Beauty and the Beast March 17 (controversial LGBT remake?)
Barbie May 12 (son, if you wanna see pirates we gonna have to sit through this)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales May 26
World War Z 2 June 9 (zombies yay!)
The. Smurfs: Lost Village April 7 (The. Smurfs)
Cars 3 June 16 (#2 bombed)
Transformers June 23 (for RTN's transformational year!)
Despicable Me 3 June 30 (All on this)
And not to be excluded family movie about...killer clowns:
IT September 8

And the bit that most people will miss - "Savills has also been instructed by TRG to acquire new sites across the Midlands, East Anglia, the South of England and Wales"

I know Brunning and Price are looking for more sites, both existing locations and properties to convert and develop.

'Nearly three-quarters of restaurants and pubs eyeing price rises, says industry monitor'

Pubs and restaurants are facing the spectre of rising costs from the business rates review as well as the forthcoming rise in the national living wage. Meanwhile competition within the sector is becoming even more fierce.

Like-for-like sales in February rose 1.7pc, according to the Coffer Peach Business Tracker. This compares well to more moribund retail sales data that recently showed growth in January was at its lowest rate since November 2013.

Restaurant groups had the best of February’s trading according to the Coffer Peach data, with like-for-like sales up 2.4pc nationally on the same month in 2016, boosted by family business during the school half-term holidays.

Yep, good week for RTN. LFL sales for Q2 last year were horrendous so lets hope they outperform with the menu changes and plenty of cinema goers.

Restaurant Group set for turnaround this year, says Liberum

An analyst meeting with Restaurant Group (RTN), which owns Garfunkel’s and Chiquitos, has boosted Liberum’s confidence in the company, which it said would have a ‘transformational year’.

Analyst Wayne Brown retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and increased the target price from 400p to 430p. The stock was trading flat at 368p at the time of writing.

‘The analyst meeting was a confident affair with Restaurant Group’s management team being forthright in their approach but pragmatic and honest in the scale of the task ahead,’ he said.

‘The strategy is based on rebuilding value in the group’s core brand where customer awareness remains strong but value and offer credentials need to be restored.’

Brown said 2017 would be a ‘transformational year’ for the group and ‘while we could see some improvement in performance this year, we think like-for-like sales and volume growth will accelerate in 2018’.

‘Time, refinement, and flexibility will be required to execute the strategy, and we feel confident that expectations have been well communicated in this regard,’ he said.

Yes the share price chart does look good. The waterfall chart on page 24 "Frankie & Benny’s: addressing root causes of underperformance" lots of green ticks could suggest an upturn in the LFL already.
