Those figures look very weak. You need to view those in the context of
cost inflation.

I said no more private equity purchases for me but Wagamama was one stock I wanted to own, let us see if they can make something from 13x Wagamamas earnings.... hxxps://www.penews.com/articles/duke-street-scores-3-4x-multiple-on-wagamama-sale-20181030

Could be a great recovery play here - but only if they can reverse the sales downtrend. I know Wagamama will bring great top line sales but remember they did pay a hefty premium for it in my opinion.

If only it was Brunning and Price and Wagamama in the group!

No sales are down 2%. The +1% include a weeks trading from Wagamama,

Even if it was +1%, that's not good as its a Nett decrease when you strip out the yearly price increase

Central London, you?

A friend of mine was one of the original stake holders in Wagamama.

I am holding (FUL) for recovery, those pizza restaurants are always busy in town, should do well now that a lot of competition has been cut back with over expansion and too high rents for sites.

I am keeping these on my monitor, a,ready invested in the sector but will keep an eye on them.

Looks like a tree shake. In Wagamama tonight again. Bunged with queue at the door. The sooner RG get the underperforming F&B sites converted the better!

Was in 100 seater Wagamama restaurant for dinner. Every seat full and queue at the door. Average customer spend £20. Very impressed considering it's the middle of January!

For the last couple of years the long term trend has been down and imo would have continued probably reaching the £1.40 later in 2019. The acquisition has brought that fall much more quickly but at least know we have a real plan and product to turn this group around. The future looks much brighter than a couple of monthS ago, ok the market doesn't like the deal but I'm confident the management team will prove the market wrong.

Wagamama is the only chain I've seen people queuing out side this Christmas. This acquisition will imo turn the group around. Great move by Andy McCue.
