The business continues to generate strong free cash flow, with £84.9m in 2017. Given our continued confidence in our plan, the Board is proposing the payment of a final dividend of 10.6 pence per share to be paid on 5 July 2018 to all shareholders on the register on 8 June 2018 (ex-dividend date 7 June 2018).

Net debt is tiny at £26m against free cash flow of £85m last year. It also has a pile of freeholds which have been externally valued by Savills at £148.2m. Looks like a great value play.

I think the whole sector is still in trouble. They may get back to LFL growth but ebitda will be challenged by NMW, Apprenticeship levy, auto enrolement pension company contribution increases, Buisness rates, Euro strength and raw ingredients price inflation...to name a few.

The pub division is growing +20% Ebitda and that division and airports is where they expand and the market will applaud that strategy. However the company would be foolish to expand elsewhere and there will be questions raised , balance sheet issues , divi maintained going forward ?In my opinion we will see a more aggressive investor entering the shareholder list and if you compare what rating Citypub have , you will find that the RTN's Pub business alone is not valued correctly on a SOP calculation.Let us who is right and who is buying the other a glass of something rather delightful.Norges Bank not stopping buying here .Watch the volume and as mentioned a Mayfair based shareholder will appear.Good luck

we will see
I bet a pint balito that they will by the end of the year.
how do you think share price will react if they do, I know all depend on the deal if it happen, but what your feeling if it happen?

I would imagine they will more likely buy outlets and convert to one of there existing brands.
They have already done this with the failed former Jamie Oliver’s site in Cheltenham.
They were also eyeing up sites belonging to Loch Fyne to add to the B&P portfolio.
I don’t see them buying another brand in the near future.

I was in this for a long time I got in at 27p city Centre restaurant and I sold the last batch at 700 but I am thinking is time to get back in.
the only thing that stop me doing so is that I believe rtn will buy another brand and maybe the price will drop at the news and that will be the time to buy.
there are many names in the casual dining sector that are great target for an opportunistic buy but I suspect shareholder will not originally like but head office synergy will make massive saving.

With Whitbread forced to speed up demerger plans , the sector will be scrutinised for other break up candidates.RTN stands outNorges Bank keeps buying DB holds over 5 % , we will clearly have a warm and sunny May , momentum will pick up in the sector .RTN will most likely pay their last Divi.Management loaded up with out of the money options .Their Gastro pub division measured on a peer group and recent pub IPO valuation , would represent on it's own a significant part of current share price . Buy call options if possible Current management will not last . Strong buy PS keep selling the AUD vs USD

Things looking up here at last, but still a lot of distress in the 'casual dining' sector which I am wary of.

Does anyone have any recent press/broker coverage they could share?
