31/1/2007 13:11 | Surely the acquisition increases the risk factor of this share - cant see how the acquisition justifies todays rise. Looks like 'irrational exuberance' after a sharp climb in the share price | ok,yah
31/1/2007 11:46 | better to be sure from a RNOW point of view then , and tie the earnout to profits. the point is in this situation is that costs clearly aren't fixed - (and lets face it, they are probably staffing up into an investment phase, like all this sector) - so the vendors weren't happy to accept an operating profit based earnout. | markie7
31/1/2007 11:31 | Well, their other costs are pretty much people - ie fixed. | wjccghcc
31/1/2007 11:27 | hmm, gross margin related earnouts.....ie - incentivised to grow the topline, but profits can wait..... | markie7
31/1/2007 11:10 | Bet the sellers are kicking themselves... | nessie
31/1/2007 09:04 | Nice acquisition | chiva20
26/1/2007 16:11 | Fair enough...! | nessie
26/1/2007 15:32 | Profit-taking springs to mind ... | wjccghcc

11/1/2007 21:55 | I have taken profits and invested in Chemistry Communicationn as it has got similar profits and growth profile but only valued at £4.6 million compared to Research now that is valued at £55 million. It is traded on Plus Markets but well worth a looking at before the train leaves the station! | lgpixels
11/1/2007 12:27 | Sold yesterday & today for excellent profit over 6 months. Sorry to bail out- but proceeds going towards a country pad! Bye! | tedg41
11/1/2007 09:49 | Could have been - but I think yesterday was natural profit-taking, after the shares had risen 100% in 4 months and been comprehensively rerated. Shares are always more liquid on results day, and it provides an opportunity for short-termers to take their profit. We can't expect the same rate of climb over the next four months. But the business is clearly booming, and there's no telling how far it could go in a year. | diogenesj
11/1/2007 08:56 | Likewise. Well run company in the right place at the right time. | wjccghcc
11/1/2007 08:07 | Personally I think yesterday was one hell of a tree shake, It wouldnt surprise me if we see an RNS saying Directors bought at £3.75 after results, Happy holder! PS and as if by magic the share price rises!!!!!!! The MM's are monkeys arnt they!!!!!!!#### | cr4zyness
10/1/2007 23:23 | Thanks, Cambo. They really were cheap then. :-) | diogenesj
10/1/2007 22:35 | Stunning results I'd say. It is a shame market sentiment has turned but these could be worth picking upon dips!Morrisons rises 5% after 6.3% rise in sales and warnsof tough trading conditions. RNOW TREBLES profits and is confident of further progress yet it falls! IT IS A FUNNY OLD GAME, SHARE INVESTING! | mach10
10/1/2007 22:32 | Well done Diogenes, last time I looked in was April and you were holding then so well done on a doubler | cambium
10/1/2007 22:08 | Outstanding results, comfortably ahead of forecasts. Not really cheap, but on this showing the shares could go quite a bit higher. | diogenesj
10/1/2007 20:02 | certainly hope so ;) | diesel72

'We look forward to leveraging our global capabilities and the favourable market environment for our online proposition continuing, with a view to delivering substantial profitable growth in 2007 and beyond.' Looking good. Cheers Th. PS the formatting on the advfn for these results is all up the creek on my computer | theophilus
04/1/2007 14:12 | Hmm, results will need to be good after this rise. Bought these at 198.32p on 30 August, so a two-bagger in just over 4 months (added a few more in the following days, and not quite 100% up overall). We're certainly expecting a lot of jam tomorrow - but is much of it in the price already? You can see I'm getting a bit nervous. :-) | diogenesj |
