Hammeredson ;)

I see CAL is yielding 8.88% now, & INTU 9.4%.

At some point, they'll be a buy. Just can't tell if it's from the Receivers.

Um, today's late potential bid approach for INTU may change things a bit too.

“FTSE slumps as Fed rates warning rattles investors”

The blue chip propcos were especially badly hit:

# BLND - down 31 (5.2%) @ 576p
# LAND - down 34 (3.9%) @ 841p
# HMSO - down 27 (6.0%) @ 433p
!!!

Happily RGL again moving in the opposite direction – up another 0.4p today. I suspect the reason for no RNS showing no more CIC, is that they were already below the disclosure level!

Pleased to see that RGL continues to base build and move higher in increasing volume – always a good sign. Does look as though the 100p, then 105p, targets are there to be met…and we all enjoy the 8% yield as it does so.

I expect a post-Interims EDISON Update any day now:

No Holdings RNS, but the share price perhaps suggesting the closing of the CIC tap is for real. 97.2p-98.0p as I type...

Ha. I seem to remember footage of him in an orange turban from time to time, so perhaps I'm wrong about the disposal after all.

1/3 of the shares were restricted until 24/09. If that trade of 8.6m wasn't CIC completing their disposal then I'm a Dutchman.

CIC have cancelled a wedge of shares held in Treasury today. Perhaps a holding announcement in RGL later.

@Sky if the final 1/3 had been sold the share price would have spiked, and stayed up.
Unless there's another seller taking up the reins.

8,775,584 is exactly 1/3 of CIC's original holding of 26,326,644

Yes, that is an interesting stat#~?%&!

Could it possibly mean that the last third has gone?

Stewart64 - you say you are surprised that your Green infrastructure shares (TRIG, GCP UKW etc)are not dropping as much as the REITS. Simple really - a big slug of the income for TRIG, UKW, JLEN, FSFL, BSIF and NESF is guaranteed by the government for 20 years or so and increases by RPI each year.

Regarding Brexit risks RGL is actually my worst performer on Sterling investment trusts though it has had a good run this last quarter.I am actually surprised these trusts haven't been hit harder. I am puzzled why my other holdings like Trig, GCP and Greencoat are hitting all time highs or close to. Diversifying out of Sterling into internationals is actually taking the gloss off my portfolio's performance. All going counter- intuitive.

Tilts - thnx for answering for me - but poacher has a blind spot over RGL, so wouldn't waste your time any further.

Poacher - all the answers are in the extensive presentation of the excellent Interims.

Also, take note of the post Interims events, particularly the property sales which have already booked total surpluses of another 2.4p/share.
