Exactly Gantenbrink.

I rang iii on three occasions and they informed me that ADI were not trading their shares until monday, REGARDLESS of what the rns stated. Yes, I did read the rns's and had the dates confirmed but that does not detract from the information passed down the line.

There are some arrogant bodies on this forum....complete and utter condescending know-alls.

Sometimes things don't pan out as expected so these days you have to be ultra-cautious. I, for one, was not prepared to sell up my shares on the off chance they were stikll Regen Newco shares, REGARDLESS of what the rns dates stated. I have a full time job and the last thing I would want is a long-winded legal case to retrieve my RegenNewCo shares due to bad advise from various parties.

Regards

Loads of activity on the patent front and zolpidem.

Still pursuing the patent!

https://register.epoline.org/espacenet/application?number=EP04733850&tab=doclist&lng=en

open the documents from either the 27 or 26th January for the details.

So where does it say you have to read RNS's to know the company in which you are buying shares. If you clicked on the RGT ticker on sites today it took you to RGT data, historic charts, reference to healthcare, nutraceuticals etc. Yes if you read the RNS you would find reference to the demerger but the headline was still Regen not ADI. I therefore see it not as confusing but misleading.

If I buy a pack of Cornflakes I expect to find Cornflakes rather than to open it and find Weetabix in there with a note to say that they have now changed the product but they haven't changed the box yet!

'it was misleading to still have an RGT ticker'

not if you stopped for one second and checked what both companies entailed

iii most likely said they were trading RGT not ADI, because... ADI trades under the RGT ticker, get it!?
It isnt confusing at all, unless you dont read the RNSs

I hadn't seen McHughs post earlier. So as far as iii were concerned they were still trading RGT rather than ADI shares.

Whatever the case may be it is still misleading. If the trades today were in RGT then there should have been some sort of announcement for anyone seeing the notice of demerger completion yesterday would be quite justified in thinking that it was the trading platforms who just hadn't updated their ticker codes yet and they were actually buying ADI.

On the other hand if it turned out that they were buying ADI then it was misleading to still have an RGT ticker.

As I was not trading in either today I saw no need to investigate further but still think the whole situation was confusing for anyone who might have been.

McHugh, i did not call you stupid, and i dont need to check with iii or a broker or anyone else. The RNS says the last day for trading RGT shares was the 17th, and that was yesterday, so regardless of what the ticker says, or what iii says or what anyone else says, the shares traded today were ADI shares. Why would they put out an RNS saying that the last day is the 17th, and then trade them on the 18th. There was an RNS this morning at 7.01 saying that the de merger has been completed, how can you trade shares today in RGT when the company is now ADI.

So it appears the "Bonus Shares" were issued on 15th Feb, contrary to advice given to some on here who saught clarification from their brokers:

"Reduction of Capital The reduction of capital, being the cancellation of the 'B' ordinary shares issued pursuant to the bonus issue on 15 February 2011 and corresponding reduction of the Company's share capital in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act 2006, as detailed in the Circular, became effective on 17 February 2011"

fenseal - if enough people like you think that way it'll become self-fulfulling

I've still not yet seen one idea why this should fare better than a small oiler fund?

I suppose, as stated before, they must be out to leverage up, thereby magnifying any gains

'if you can raise 1.5m the peeps who bought in the placing did not buy to make a loss'

they were also buying a listing, as said before

still, it's no bad thing to see this valued at a premium!
