My reading of section 980(2) of the Companies Act is that Redmile would have to have served notice of intention to acquire the remaining minority shareholders' shares within 3 months of the date when the deadline for accepting the offer expired. This was 30/4/20 so the deadline for serving notice expired on 30/7/20. So I don't think they can do this now. Does anyone agree/disagree with me?

If you trawl back through the rns releases as far as March 13th it does say the company accepted a 15p per share offer for the company from redmile and recently redmile are up to 92 percent share holders.I can not find any news that says this has now been reversed and quite frankly if they own 92 percent there is nothing that can be done anyway.It does seem very odd but looks like they are compulsory purchasing the remaining shares at only 15p.That's how it seems to read.

HiI got message from my broker that they will accept the offer on my behalf at 0.155p per share unless I decline. Some advice will be welcomed.

Thanks for replying. I am afraid they weren't much use. Just read out what they sent. If the share price currently 50p how can takeover be for 0.15p They they will accept the offer on my behalf unless I decide to decline. Just a bit confused ?. Do I sell now my 10000 shares or end up receiving £1550

i suggest you ask your broker why they are sending you info which is not in the public domain...we know they are majority holders and have obligations

Today I got message from my ISA broker about recommend takeover of Redx Pharma by Redmile Group at 0.155 per share held. Payment date 20/08/2020.Is this a proper takeover or something else? Any advice would be welcomed.

Wish i listened to this guy on twitter yesterday,apparently he is a city insider
specialist on small cap stocks.I noticed he also tipped a few other stocks i watch a few weeks back and they both more than doubled.
