Thanks Pierre et all. Sensible answers. I transferred to a higher risk company but maintain interest and belief in redt. When funds allow I'll be buying back here ....whatever the price may be. I may even actually buy a unit. But that's another story.

Ig, no one knows when, or even if, it will takeoff. anyone who knows the future price of any share would soon be a billionaire.

aim especially is about backing those with the highest probability (as you assess) of taking off. the price wont be profit driven for a few years yet - it will be driven by the view of future profits.

If you sold at more than 10p then great - it would be an easy (but illogical) decision for me to buy back at 30/40% less than i sold at.

You can't improve your financial life without taking risks (with money you can afford to lose).

red is fine for me using the above criteria even though i@m currently at a loss. things can and do change quickly - look at onl for example (and there's some arbitrage like possibilities with afn due to onl).

Iglenn - I think global adoption of the technology will start to show good momentum from the middle of 2018 onwards. It remains to be seen whether RedT is one of the winning players in that growth. I hope they will be, and that a substantive deal or two will set them on their way - but I remain on the fence as to whether RedT will indeed be among the winners or will get left behind.

(NOTE: 'on the fence' is a neutral stance - though there are one or two McCarthyists here who have previously condemned my view because it didn't show unquestioning allegiance to the 'RedT is the greatest and cannot fail' mantra) ;-)
