17/10/2018 11:58 | Chick, thats because a large chuck of the trades have been buys. Don't believe the sell/buy designations. Its all been discussed before. | mikemine
17/10/2018 11:56 | Thanks Zero. Colin Gillam of RED is in the picture as part of the team. Storage is not mentioned at all but somewhere on Monash's website it says the energy storage capacity installed is the same as the units RED installed so I guess RED is the only company supplying storage. Considering that Monash has a large sustainable energy teaching, research and learning presence, I think that gives RED quite a validation. | mikemine
17/10/2018 11:48 | I can't work out why the price hasn't fallen with 1.5 Million. Shares sold with very few buys.Any thoughts? | ch1ck

17/10/2018 10:17 | Not sure if these awards do any good but a good chance of networking and promoting RED. | mikemine

17/10/2018 09:26 | jimflint has decided his investment future is elsewhere so this is academic. If you need a definition: speculation noun 1. the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence. "there has been widespread speculation that he plans to quit" synonyms: conjecture, theorizing, hypothesizing, supposition, guesswork; More 2. investment in stocks, property, etc. in the hope of gain but with the risk of loss. "the company's move into property speculation" | ts0mev
17/10/2018 09:19 | (IMHO etc) Speculation comes from the same root as spectral and spectacles: it means 'taking a view' ie an opinion. Investment on other hand is based on evidence. Like many things it's a continuum with a blurry middle area between the two ends but Redt is more towards the investment end. | quanglewangle
17/10/2018 08:49 | What is a speculation and what is an investment? Depends on your perspective I suppose. | mikemine
17/10/2018 08:46 | The UK Government is investing £20 million in a venture capital fund to support cleantech companies. Dubbed the Clean Growth Fund, it will also include at least a further £20 million from the private sector, with the aim for it to be worth £60 million or more eventually. It will make direct investments in companies seeking to commercialise “promising innovative” clean growth solutions, with areas ranging from renewable energy and heat, energy efficiency, low emission vehicles and associated infrastructure, sustainable buildings and clean manufacturing to smart grids and smart energy technologies. | dlg3
17/10/2018 07:37 | I can almost feel the qualified prospects ripening . Converting the sun's energy - and Scotland's * wind- into power for use in EVs , kettles, iPads , traffic lights, operating theatres on dark nights. Other uses for electricity can be found. | alchemy
17/10/2018 07:02 | No. Besides RedT is a speculation, not an investment. One can win big, or loose big. To me Redt rings too many alarm bells, so I got out. On writing to the board I was just sharing some of that. I could have just walked away. I don't do pique. I could be wrong, but I feel more comfortable being out. Good luck to everybody. | jimflint
16/10/2018 20:18 | Jim, I would normally say, 'Fair enough' and wave you kindly on your way. But you have levelled fairly significant aspersions at the credibility, if not the governance of this company, without, as yet, any substantiation. May we then assume this was out of pique at the direction of your investment? | brucie5 |
