That’s encouraging to hear, uva. The company has already said that it will ‘exceed expectations’-and various brokers have share price targets around £8 so, yes, it’s currently a bargain.

Quite the turnaround from 600 or so.

Some very silly (and dubious) price changes in this sector during the past few weeks. But it's all good volatility.

Always nice to see those words in a trading statement.

Silly prices lately.

352m shares (after all potential dilution re share options; 345m average last time) - Market cap (at 660) is £2,323 million.
Projected PBT for 2021/22 (£2bn turnover (they say "above £2 billion"), 18% margin) is 360m, say £290m after tax.
8 times earnings.
And that's not counting c£160m net cash if we're talking enterprise value (see Morrisons discussions).

Cheap, I'd say.

Do they have a land bank? Do they have pre-2021 option prices over any land?

I believe this is an area they have been weak in.

I know of one region where they let their options lapse and since COVID, half the UK seems to want to go and live there!
