No, but it was 6th Sept last year, so 'soon' is all we can say and probably close to that date.

For those who like a quiet board, this has to be one of the tops. This is the first post since 10th May on a share which is now nudging an all time high and has seen strong, uninterrupted growth in profits and dividends for the past 5 years - and no sign of a slowdown now. It's on a lowly p/e of about 9 and must surely be one of the most attractive, relatively risk free 'buys' around.

nice & quiet? this is the peak,
joe public is up to their eyes in debt,
lenders are pulling the loans, based on out of control car finance
running into a staggering outstanding total balance,
a 40k motor with 7k of interest added on, crazy
smell the coffee!
26 out of first 50 trades ( buys) all less than 23 shares!
pump to dump?
edit 545p looks a sensible level to hold at, the real winners are
those playing the prop cycle, the real damage will come from
inflationary rents
which in part swung the anti -capitalist vote

Nice and quiet, just ticks up a bit most days lately, look at the chart and see the gain since the beginning of the year. Many shares doing a lot worse than this.GLAH

I wonder if profit forecast has anything to do with revised bid for Boris? If not redraw looks good value.

The sensible thing here now that the board of Bovis has rejected the bid would be to pull it,and leave the board of Bovis to its own devices.Let's see if the Redrow board is sensible and patient.

I bought into RDW to sit alongside BDEV in my portfolio - this morning RDW is reflecting BDEV's good Interims. Both charts are looking good - if it does go pear-shaped I think I will be out before 420p, but Stop-Losses are pretty personal...As ever we climb a "wall of worry"; interest rate increases, commitment confidence, government policy impact - but I am not worrying much about my Housebuilders!Cheers, tightfist

Good afternoon. I am new to this board and a New Buy for me at 486p with a Stop at 420p. (Yes I use Stops during initial purchase..don't judge me ;)

Rolling Ratios are very positive ROCE 21%, ROE 23%, Good margins at 29% and quite high in it's sector. Yield 3%.

I guess I could rattle on a few more figures however I see The_Equaliser has summed up the outlook and progress quite well.

I required a housing sector to balance and diversify portfolio and found RDW to be a suitable candidate. Good luck all.

Redrow hikes H1 pretax profit by 35%
StockMarketWire.com
Redrow has hiked its H1 pretax profit by 35% to £140m, from £104m in the year-earlier same period, in what it penned as a robust performance.

Interim dividend vaulted 50% higher to 6p a share, from 4p.

The company's group revenue improved to £739m, from £603m.

"Redrow delivered a robust performance in the first half, producing another set of record results," said chairman Steve Morgan.

In the last six months legal completions increased 13% to 2459, adding to the country's much needed supply of new homes, he said.

"At the beginning of February we purchased Radleigh Homes a regional housebuilder based in the East Midlands.

"Radleigh is an excellent fit given its geographical location and high quality market position. Radleigh will form the basis of a new division for the Group."

Redrow, said Morgan, had entered H2 with a record order book, while customer traffic and sales remained robust.

"Given the strength of our sales position and land holdings our growth strategy is firmly on track, giving me every confidence this will be another year of significant progress for Redrow."
