KPMG Leeds gave Redhall Group a clean audit report on 31st January 2019 despite the working capital pressures. In January 2019, LO and Downing lent Redhall a couple of million which they won't now see back again. Something catastrophic seems to have gone wrong inside the company in the last 4 months. We shareholders deserve to know the truth. In my view the former chairman with his foolish talk of the turnaround being complete merits a large part of the blame for this fiasco.

Who knows dangers. Redhall subsidiaries work on some important contracts and there may have been phone calls made etc. If Downing let Redhall fail then their reputation gets hammered. Only sensible to have another look at what could be done. I agree RGD looks a woodfordesque big punt by JM.
