At least certain countries can sit back now. America paid $2.26 trillion over 20 years in Afghanistan. The ongoing cost was set to be $45 billion in 2022. The UK cost is £37 billion over 20 years. Every taxpayer was set to pay £40 per week had the USA stayed.
For those who wanted forces to stay in Afghanistan, the polite thing to do is donate £2,080 to the Afghan
people each year.
One reason the Taliban are grabbing phones is to access information to stop cash withdrawals and to locate assets and houses abandoned. I suppose if the person just disappears it makes that a lot easier. Many will be carrying cash and valuables that can be taken as booty. That should keep the Taliban army happy.

There are if we look today plus points remaining. The investment in Power Metal proved a very good call even if the share price has retreated about 30% with others in the sector.

The Kenyan gold JORC resource may be improved in the present drilling campaign despite the much lower gold price. However, others might point out the present gold price is far above when drilling first started pre-2015.

On the company website RRR expect $250k a year from El Limon royalties. However, the past record on calling royalty payments from El Limon has been poor to even worse.

The Aussie gold assets might float on AIM. The gold price and sentiment surrounding gold explorers have near collapsed. So the IPO must be in doubt. AB is confident about the gold price but no 'yippee' in his voice as he said it.

Much that has happened at Red Rock should not have. The Chairman would have become exalted if a dividend had been paid. He even said that Red Rock would be the first explorer on AIM to do so. Instead, about £1.5 million went into Steelmin and Aumulet and lost.
Yes, £500,000 could have been paid in a dividend leaving £1 million over.

Red Rock RRR is a 'How not to run a company' so who knows. Its major holder seems unmoved at nearly 17% and never utters a word. My valuation is 0.1p to 10p with no average on this 'solid gold lump of junk' - is there such a thing? Yee gods only know so help us. Over and out 'good grief'.

"Most retail investors lose money because they buy at the wrong time"

So ever since 2010 in the case of RRR.

There is that.

From today's RNS at Power Metal POW

The warrants were issued to participants in a financing undertaken by the Company in February 2019 and in which Red Rock subscribed for twenty million new Ordinary Shares, receiving twenty million warrants to acquire Ordinary Shares at a price of 1.0p per new Ordinary Share (the "Warrants").

The expiry date of the Warrants is 18 August 2021 and Red Rock has irrevocably confirmed it will exercise the Warrants on 17 August 2021 and pay GBP200,000 exercise monies to the Company.

The irrevocable undertaking to exercise the Warrants has been given by Red Rock to mitigate the possibility of Andrew Bell being in possession of price sensitive information prior to the expiry date of the Warrants and Red Rock being unable to exercise the Warrants as a result.

Buy juniors when they are on the floor not at the top of the market, most AIM juniors are off 50%/70% when a sector bounce comes, as it always does, the rises will be rapid.

Most retail investors lose money because they buy at the wrong time, buyers entering the sector now could see some very nice gains later when the summer liquidity drought ends.

From Mawson Gold TSX: MAW

Victoria hosts one of the giant orogenic goldfields in the world with more than 80 Moz extracted since 1851.
The State is now experiencing its third gold boom with the discovery of the Swan Zone at Fosterville (current proven and probable reserve 3 Mt at 21.8 g/t gold for 2.1 Moz).

There are two distinct sub-types of orogenic gold mineralization in Victoria (mesozonal and epizonal), formed during different metallogenic/orogenic events: the first recorded from the ~445 Ma Benambran Orogeny, and the second from the ~370-380 Ma Tabberabberan Orogeny occurring within distinct regional geological domains.

The majority of gold recovered from the Victorian goldfields has been produced from the older, Benambran-aged mesozonal gold-quartz vein systems, targeted by the old-timers in the Bendigo and Stawell zones.

More recently, Fosterville has rewritten the Victorian geological opportunity for epizonal gold deposits.

We now understand that epizonal systems can develop extremely high-grade, free gold deposits, as the miners in 1859 demonstrated at Redcastle.

I suspect Bell may well be working on another liquidising event.
kemche

However you view the interview, yes Bell waffles on, the fact remains is that Paul Johnson will play a major part in the listing and promotion of the new vehicle which Red Rock hold a 51% stake.

He comments the nearest peer is ECR, their market cap, in a poor market, is £17m yet their land holding is much smaller.

The new vehicle should be IPO'ing in a stronger market in Q4, if so then a valuation circa £10m - £15m should be possible of which RRR hold 51%.

It makes RRR cheap therefore, current market value is only £7.5m

Hi kemche et al, From listening to PJ I believe the plan is mainly to raise funds for RRAL to explore its Victoria tenements. So in these markets that will not be easy so 2022 or 2023 might be better but who knows for sure.
Looking at some gold minnows that have fallen up to 70% now is not the time to float. However, it may well be the time to scoop up some small-size gold producers like DRD gold - m/c US$890 million on a yield over 8%.

The podcast really changed nothing at all though it did send two three-year-olds fast asleep so it is a favourite of mine. AB really just found words to keep the podcast going over 20 minutes long.
So RRAL continues as is known and it may float on AIM in the short term.

So I give AB 10 out of 10 for performance. 4 out of 10 for content. 4 out of 10 for assuredness. So an average 6 out of 10.

Very positive podcast from Red Rock today - IPO of RRAL on AIM coming sooner than later.

Of course, looking back Red Rock shares exceeded 10p and went on past 20p. The equivalent price today is about 0.1p to the price then at 20p.

On a possible share lift basis it looks as if Kenya is still in the number one slot. Victoria, Australia is second but very much boxed in by the present gold price and seeing there are many explorers in and around Ballarat. DRC is an outsider as are the gold and iron ore royalties.

A tie-up between POW and RRR is unlikely. Though POW taking an interest in Mikei, Kenya is not out of the question.

"I shall expect one in return when we hit 2p. And 3p. And 5p. And 10p and any multiple of that!"

Bell must surely be a buyer on the back of that?

Would not rule out an early float on AIM of RRAL, there could be other liquidity events also. Some tie up with Power Metals cannot be ruled out either.

Fridays volume was meaningful can see the shares moving higher in the week ahead.

My year end 3p target could easily be surpassed.
