I'm only holding 240,000 shares in RRR these days so I'm not all that bothered. Surprised to see a buy at 1.35p. Though Red Rock, to be honest, has still got a lot of assets and look to have enough cash for the rest of this year. How much they might get on the flotation of Red Rock Australasia Limited is uncertain as much depends on the gold price - should come out of this very well if all the pundits are correct.

Some may well see Red Rock as cheap if solely compared to Power Metal POW - who knows however though the sector is looking good at the moment.

ARB shares mentioned here when about 11p is at 140p as of posting. Highly volatile and mega-high risk.

Drilling rigs are in short supply in WA, QLD, and Victoria. They may have to wait a while or pay a bit over the odds.
The tight pricing on the placing should stop any major retraction in the share price. The company needs loads of cash so a sale of assets looks needed here.
Profit shown in the header of £5.6 million was due to the included value of Kenyan assets and revaluation of JMS shares held - this was not a profit on cash received terms as far as the Kenyan assets are concerned.

Onlyroadtoheaven: I think a lot of people are investing here due to the Paul Johnson (PJ) and Power Metal connection and hoping Companies like RRR and KAT and KAV will be dragged along by the "PJ Effect" which appears to be all about getting things done quickly and efficiently and relatively cheaply; and when/if finding nothing is there to be discovered moving along quickly and smartly on to other projects. We are all caught up in his slip stream to an extent so hang on to your hats and with a touch of luck reap the whirlwind.

How can anyone invest in this company given its (very long) history??? Everyone knows the score with RRR and the board. It still amuses me when people try to ramp this up. A hard job indeed!

notwithstanding the garbage posted by the many and varied trolls who seem to have taken refuge on this thread, what is your take on RRR's current position regarding funding for the exploration work they envisage?
recent share price activity has been encouraging as the creature that has lain dormant finally cranks into some meaningful action.
Do you have any personal share price targets for the next year?

Just interested- i have a modest holding of these from a while back- in truth I don't even remember when i bought them, but I added quite a few once the share price woke up last year, and they're nicely in profit to date

This company is 'done'. Reputation damaged beyond repair, no contracts. Terrible for investors, but a lesson learned, not to be greedy, and just buy into more established companies
