09/2/2021 13:22 | I wouldn't be surprised Noirua if Musonoi joins the list with the other projects that never amounted to anything or much. Onto the next hope? | greenpastures2
09/2/2021 12:05 | malcontent, much of the answer on financing at RRR is in the header. I posted a view on the POW thread. | noirua
09/2/2021 12:03 | Today's Luanshimba RNS really just asks one question. What has happened to the Musonoi JORC resource that was so highly praised by AB? | noirua
09/2/2021 10:35 | Onlyroadtoheaven: I think a lot of people are investing here due to the Paul Johnson (PJ) and Power Metal connection and hoping Companies like RRR and KAT and KAV will be dragged along by the "PJ Effect" which appears to be all about getting things done quickly and efficiently and relatively cheaply; and when/if finding nothing is there to be discovered moving along quickly and smartly on to other projects. We are all caught up in his slip stream to an extent so hang on to your hats and with a touch of luck reap the whirlwind. | algernon2
09/2/2021 08:34 | How can anyone invest in this company given its (very long) history??? Everyone knows the score with RRR and the board. It still amuses me when people try to ramp this up. A hard job indeed! | onlyroadtoheaven
08/2/2021 22:53 | Noirua notwithstanding the garbage posted by the many and varied trolls who seem to have taken refuge on this thread, what is your take on RRR's current position regarding funding for the exploration work they envisage? recent share price activity has been encouraging as the creature that has lain dormant finally cranks into some meaningful action. Do you have any personal share price targets for the next year? Just interested- i have a modest holding of these from a while back- in truth I don't even remember when i bought them, but I added quite a few once the share price woke up last year, and they're nicely in profit to date | malcontent
08/2/2021 08:18 | Is there anyone left that hasn't been burnt by this company over the years?? An absolutely terrible company. | onlyroadtoheaven

07/2/2021 17:15 | This company is 'done'. Reputation damaged beyond repair, no contracts. Terrible for investors, but a lesson learned, not to be greedy, and just buy into more established companies | cjb1971

TIDMROCK RNS Number : 8624N Rockfire Resources PLC 03 February 2021 03 February 2021 Rockfire Resources plc ("Rockfire" or the "Company") Soils display coincident Au/Cu anomaly at Bell Rock Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK), the gold and base metal exploration company, is pleased to announce the results of soil sampling at the Bell Rock Prospect within the Company's 100%-owned Lighthouse tenement in North Queensland, Australia. Highlights: -- Bell Rock is located less than 4 km southeast of the Plateau Gold Deposit ("Plateau"). -- A +300 m long and +100 m wide coincident gold/copper soil anomaly has been identified at Bell Rock. -- The highest gold-in-soil value is 1.7 g/t Au (1,700 ppb) and the highest copper-in-soil value is 605 ppm Cu. -- 16% of soil samples have returned assays above 0.1 g/t Au (100 ppb) gold and 58% of all samples returned copper above 100 ppm Cu. -- Coincident with the soil anomaly, previous rock sampling has recorded a maximum of 23.4 g/t Au and 0.14 % Cu (see Rockfire announcement dated 1 June 2020). -- Elevated gold and copper values extend beyond the limits of the survey area. -- Work planned during the next four months at Bell Rock includes ground magnetics, extensional soil sampling, additional rock sampling and geological mapping. An image showing the soil sampling results for gold and copper can be viewed via the following link. David Price, Chief Executive Officer of Rockfire, commented: "I am pleased to announce these high gold-in-soil values from soil sampling at Bell Rock. It is not common to obtain a soil sample with a +1,000 ppb gold value, so we consider these to be remarkable values. The identification of such high soil anomalism within the Lighthouse tenement provides further evidence that Lighthouse is a highly endowed tenement located between multi-million-ounce operating gold mines. I am particularly encouraged by the coincident copper, as Bell Rock may prove to be a gold/copper system, which is very different to that seen at Plateau (gold/silver). The size of the anomaly is also pleasing, being coherent over nearly 400 m in an east-west direction. The prospect's proximity to Plateau means that as both projects advance, there is greater potential for shared infrastructure and logistics. Clearly however, this is very early-stage exploration with on-going steps required, including ground magnetics and detailed geological mapping to better understand the geological setting of Bell Rock. The Company will continue to progress Bell Rock over the coming months towards a maiden drilling programme and will update the market with this progress in due course." Qualified Person Statement: Information in this announcement that relates to exploration results is based on information compiled by Mr Edward Fry, the Exploration Manager of Rockfire Resources plc, who is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). Mr Fry has sufficient experience relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity which has been undertaken to qualify as a Competent Person as defined by the 2012 Edition of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (the JORC Code) and a "Qualified Person" in accordance with the AIM Rules Guidance Note for Mining and Oil & Gas Companies. 28/1/2021 10:07 | Confidence in the gold sector trend is lost for the time being. The Canadian float of the Australian tenements may need to be put on ice. Tomorrow is the final day for USD1.5 million to be paid to Kansai unless they decide to convert the sum into Red Rock shares at the closing price. Markets are generally under pressure. | noirua

25/1/2021 11:54 | On 21 December 2020, the Company agreed to restructure payments due to Kansai Mining following the renewal of the Company's exploration licenses held over the Migori Gold Project in Kenya. Of the US$2.5m cash payment due under the original agreement executed on 15 June 2018 within three months of license renewal, the Company agreed to pay $1m in cash immediately, US$0.5 million of which was paid on 24 December 2020, with a further $1.5m to be paid in cash or stock at Kansai's discretion, by 29 January 2021. Any shares issued under this second payment were to be priced at the closing price of the Company's shares on the date of issue. ONLY FOUR DAYS TO GO and £1.1 million to be paid. This sum equals the cash lost trying to prop up Steelmin. | noirua
23/1/2021 22:09 | Mount Ida is low-grade iron ore and requires beneficiation. A completely different matter to Mount Mason that can be brought into production quite quickly. Mount Mason maybe 2022 and Mount Ida 2024. Difficult to know what iron ore prices will be then. | noirua
