Can Treasury win the battle against Nama? If yes, reo share price might go up sky-high.

The Irish Press so far have it as a possible bid,
whereas the company Chelsea say the bid has been submitted today.

NAMA sues Johnny Ronan and Richard Barrett personally

London's Evening Standard is reporting that the Battersea Power Station site in Wandsworth on the banks of the Thames in London (see photo below) is to be transformed into a police car-park for the Olympic games, now only three months away; the report says that 350 vehicles will use the 35-acre site as a car-park. The site is currently in administration and is being marketed for sale by Knight Frank.

Wonder if Nama is happy with Mr Kennys new mate in China? What a Chinese TAIL indeed!

At the start of a four-day visit to China by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Enterprise Ireland chief executive Frank Ryan told members of a trade delegation that Ireland was "going to become a major trading partner with China".

"This is Team Ireland on tour. Going forward, China must become a key business partner for Ireland."

Richard Barrett, managing director of Treasury Holdings, and also chairman of its Chinese operation, Treasury China Trust, is a long-time China veteran and has seen trade delegations come through before.

"Looking at the companies that are here, it's an improvement on before because the companies have capacity to do business here," said Mr Barrett. "They are definitely going to business here, the attitude is better, because they have to be here."

Adjourned to Tuesday.....
Time has the details...

It said this tho', which I thought interesting...

"Treasury indicated yesterday it is withdrawing its additional application for an injunction restraining the receivers dealing with its assets. However, it is considered unlikely the receivers will take any steps prior to the determination of the leave application."

Assets that are still falling in value!

Lloyds said there had been further falls in the Irish commercial property market during the year, and warned that "further vulnerability exists".
