|Well it does appear they need a consultant to point them in the right direction, as the strategic skills for growth they appear to have seem somewhat wanting.|
|Interesting RNS news today.
|Probably explains the volume jump:
|Sudden volume jump since yesterday|
|Maybe somebody is waking up|
|Its shocking, 11 days have gone since the last update !
Honestly, some folk on here are on another planet.|
|Results out on Friday...|
|REACT Group plc (AIM: REAT), the specialist provider of rapid response deep cleaning and emergency decontamination services, will announce its results for the year ended 30 September 2016 on Friday 17 March 2017.|
|Well my prediction is simply that they haven't managed to grow anything from the existing business so far and that the only thing that they will notably have achieved is an increase in overheads and admin. expenses.
I bet that the proportion of overhead from the original holding company attributed to the React operation was substantially lower than the overheads currently being incurred, mainly because ALL of the overhead from salaries, rent etc. is now firmly in the REAT accounts.
I'm sure they would have boasted about any growth, whereas in fact the only news has been that the minor acquisition was a dead-duck.
Oh well, it was a punt and at least there is an existing business. It remains to be seen whether its just a cash cow for fat cats.|
|Is anybody there ? might be another question...|
|Are we making a profit?|
|Results out this month....|
|That doesn't make sense - I see no pump spike - its just tailed off downwards, which reflects nothing much happening to shout about.|
|just seen the share price .left here on the pump and seems just anothe lifestyle co. for bods draining shareholders pension dreams?|
|Is this the same company that was Verdes Management that went 5 years unable to do a deal even though they specialised in helping companies who were in trouble in the biggest downturn in a 100 years where companies were in trouble? LOL - I make this 12 years now with the management unable to make one single deal, where's your mucker Rorrrry who suckered you all in? LOL LOL LOL Muppets!|
|The share price reaction looks a little overdone though, but its presumably illiquid.
I suppose the downside is that they've taken a perfectly good, profitable niche business and added a load of expense to it (BOD etc.) which means it HAS to expand its revenue to just cover the additional costs.
The upside is that it may be an area which can be consolidated by bringing together smaller specialists. It looks as if it should be.
So is this a group of chancers with other folks money who fancy playing with any old business they can find, or is it a group who have carefully selected a market based on extensive research ?|
|The worry must be that if they can't take over a very small business without a problem, then what is going to happen with a larger one ?
There wasn't any cross-selling and clearly no possible expansion.
Do they actually really know anything about the market that's worth knowing ?
Anyway, if they ain't going to reply to anyone...

might be worth a go|
|Got out of this stock at 1.7 a while back after watching a presentation by some bloke at the UK Investor Show, something didn't seem quite right about the company - emailed them a few times like others on here and never got anything back - bad sign.|
|Market Cap under £2m, hopefully they still have around £1m in cash. Major distraction on this small acquisition will now be out the way leading management to concentrate on growing the business. Not bailing out here as hopefully there is a chance they can still do well after this set back.|
the shuffle man
|Begins with a C.|
|Not the word I'd use...|
