Ged, last year the end of year trading update was on Oct 24th.We will see how busy they have been during this period. This is a micro cap & is being run as such. It is the punt in my portfolio & the worst performer (as punts usually are). If I see more Director ownership (CEO & CFO own zilch), I will carry on investing here.Did you get a reply off Shaun Doak?

I just can't keep up with all the trades today. Is everybody expecting a trading update next week? Not too sure how charts work when there's no volume but with the Bollinger bands almost closed (never mind closing) there's usually movement up or down. Trading update I reckon up. No update down. Place your bets if you're a short term trader! Otherwise wait for the long game. A small growing company about to start its journey.

Ged, I expect it will be some time before anyone knows the impact, if any, to Reat of rail companies losing the franchises. I would have expected a rns from the company to clarify it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54232015

Now back to REAT. A correction to Zico's post 1127 and my post 1131. From the February blog:- "React works with a number of UK universities to provide a one-stop shop specialist cleaning service." I've been in REAT from April so apologies for not realising they have been working with universities for some time. Still not heard from Shaun. One of my questions Sikhthetech, was about the change in rail franchise. We could do with an official announcement imo.

zmar90 - well done on finding the Helium information, you can follow YGEN all you like but you may have noticed that Helium were selling and went below 3% on their last announcement in 2018. Chances are they have sold the balance and would not need to declare it! Also note that Helium tend to sell stocks when there is market demand and wherever possible without forcing the price down as was the case in SKIN. It was all the "get rich quick" brigade that were punting the stock ahead of the AGM that panicked out and caused the share price fall well after Helium had finished selling. Indeed the share price initially continued upwards after the Helium sales had been completed judging by the times on the trade reports.

People selling on low volumes, bored out of their shares. I saw the same in MWE before it rebounded on great results & contract wins.I will continue to monitor. Looking for more contract wins.I will decide whether to add or sell out after the next trading update.

The government have told Office staff to work from home, possibly for the next 6 months. This would result in lower demand for deep cleaning in Offices over the next 6 months. The govn have also removed Rail franchises, which could affect contract renewals going forward as well as future contract awards, as these would be awarded by a government dept. What rail companies are Reat's customers? https://www.railwaygazette.com/uk/uk-government-announces-the-end-of-rail-franchising/57396.article

I emailed Shaun on Friday because I was in the mood for emailing the CEO of a couple of companies that seem to be in hibernation. Unusual that I didn't get a reply from him. I'm hoping it's because they are about to make an announcement.

Investographer I share your frustration regarding news on new contracts and acquisition(s).React Group has many long term contracts in Healthcare,Rail,Road,FM,Universities etc, etc. The company has been very busy since March 2020 for covid and non-covid work. In August the company tweeted [ in current conditions demand has grown for FirstResponseCleaning,Decontamination,InfectionControl services in all sectors ]. A very strong 2nd half. I'm sure the trading statement will confirm this.

It is now clear that React Group have been very busy during these Covid times (which are not going away). What they did now is a major contract, say with TFL/ London Underground. They need to be winning huge contracts like this. From the blog a couple of days ago:- Many FM companies will have kitchen facilities on-site, whether that’s full-service kitchens or cook-chill facilities. Our team successfully inspect and clean all grease extractor systems, helping clients remain compliant with BESA TR19, Fire Officers and Insurers. We will happily work with any FM company which uses kitchen extract and ducting systems to agree regular inspection and cleaning programmes, reducing Health and Safety risk. Another key area of focus for our air hygiene team is Fire Dampers. These play a crucial role in the prevention of fires within ductwork systems – and again, FM companies can outsource the testing to us. We will inspect and test Fire Dampers in accordance with BS 9999:2017. It is a stipulation of the industry standard that all Fire Dampers should be drop tested, cleaned and maintained every twelve months as a minimum. Once again, we work with FM companies of all sizes to institute regular inspection and cleaning schedules and meet all regulatory requirements. Ged5, The government have been incompetent in the way they have handled Covid crisis. They are hiding behind 'Following the science' which is BS. It's not as if the world has never had epidemics/pandemics before. It's common sense that masks would help reduce the spread, it's common sense that you don't send patients from hospitals to care homes without testing them (and waiting for the result). Allowing Spaniards to enter the UK to attend a football match when cases were surging in Spain is probably the most stupid decision ever made, 2nd only to sending untested patients from hospitals to care homes!!!!! So I share your anger.
