Share price seems unreactive to macro events, which is nice.

We already know the figures from the trading update. And there's been five contract win RNSs/RNSNONs since October :o))

Plus no PLC is allowed to hold back contract wins just for results dates - they have to be announced as and when.

The outlook and general tone is most important. Hopefully it'll match this from the update:

"We have had a positive start to the current financial year and sales activity is once again beginning to increase. A steadily growing pipeline of opportunities points towards a return to business-as-usual for a number of our customers and the outlook for the Group remains positive."

Some solid figures and a new contract or two won't go amiss.

It would be nice to get some sort of clarification, from 5 to 20 million? Over 5 to 10 years!

Anybody going to ask a question regarding the valuation discrepancy of the last contract gain?

Think that a large buy is being worked, at the moment I can sell 1 million @ 1.15p?
And buy @ a fraction below 1.2p, current spread is 1.15-1.25

Your right it's unclear, my reading of it is, it may be an initial contract for £10m over 5 years with a possible extension for another £10m over a further 5 years? Anyway its twice the amount notified in the RNS which is excellent news?

The new £1m+ p.a for 5 years contract win is also reported on Bidstats, the government contract reporting site.

It's difficult to pick out the detail as there are actually two award notices, both on the same day, and the numbers involved are actually much greater.

Here's the first. Of the two winning suppliers, Fidelis appear to have won one award of almost £10.7m and another of £1.73m:

Here's the second:

This one has the same two winning suppliers, and has a 10 year value up to £7m - but quotes the value to Fidelis and the other supplier of £20.75m each!

Perhaps the much larger numbers are if the contract is extended beyond the initial 5 years. I can't make much sense of it all otherwise (maybe someone else can!), and certainly trust REAT's RNS much more than Bidstack's detail.

Fidelis have won another contract this week (on Monday). This one's for £900,000 plus VAT over 5 years, i.e £180,000 per annum, for a sixth form college in Birmingham:

Lovely recurring income once again, all adding to the considerable recurring income already won.

Plus there's the potential for additional work - "during the course of this contract an additional one or two building may be added to the college and the successful contractor should cost this additional cleaning requirement using the same productivity ratios as were applied for the successful tender."

Unusually Allenby haven't yet issued an update after today's large contract win. I suppose it's possible they won't update until after the prelims "towards the end of January".

Now they appear to be able to make and benefit from a successful acquisition, perhaps they can build with more.

Depends where the limits are with keeping overhead cost growth down and the extent of cross-selling possible.

Presumably they would be looking to acquire businesses with customers who need specialist cleaning but aren’t getting it completely from the acquired business.

Missed the RNS this morning. It wasn't on Investegate when I looked.

More excellent news. It seems this is the time of year for REAT.

Norfolk see post 156.
