17/4/2014 12:20 | Nice move today ;-) | schneil
14/4/2014 19:40 | Well done Scotty, nice find thanks for sharing it. Sorry Sofie I don't know the answer to that question. | jakleeds
13/4/2014 16:55 | Just had a quick look at the results and noticed £2.44M came out of cash flow to finance the purchase of Property, Plant & equipment - I cannot see any reference to what this substantial payment was for - can anyone enlighten me please ? | sofie811
13/4/2014 14:28 | I believe this stock is now undervalued and was over sold last week.Consider the share price this time one year ago and today - virtually no difference yet the improvements made and significant progress achieved through 2013 and into 2014 is incredible! And would suggest to me a massive buy opportunity now at these levels! All we could do with is some director buying shortly to give further confidence. I am holding all mine and will wait for the increase in share price I expect to see.All IMO of course, Gla holders. | schneil
12/4/2014 22:00 | Jakleeds, I was half hoping we were heading to 15-20p for that reason, guess I'll just have to bide my time! ATB | salonie
12/4/2014 17:10 | Hi Salonie, Just to clarify, I wouldn't want a rights issue until at least 20p (assuming they get there). Anything before then would be far too heavily dilutive and unlikely to be taken up by many holders, if any at all. | jakleeds
12/4/2014 13:25 | Hi Greenroom/Jakleeds, I must admit I thought the results would have been better. Still holding, although the shareprice is now back where I purchased them. May as well forget about them for a year and see if they continue to improve. I was a little disappointed with the bank re-financing, like Jakleeds I was hoping for a rights issue, to raise some cash and pay off the debt. GLA | salonie
10/4/2014 22:30 | Thanks Greenroom, caution is best sometimes, especially in a market like this and in a risky stock. Great surfing weather today. | jakleeds
10/4/2014 22:11 | Good luck Jak, the forward statement was very strong and I thought about holding on, opted for caution though. Will be keeping it on my monitor to see how things develop and ready for the next update. A slight improvement in margins and things change massively. | greenroom78
10/4/2014 21:50 | I had a feeling most would sell today, and I must admit that I was tempted too. However, the chairman's statement that he 'is as confident as he's ever been about the company's future' comes three and a half months after the period for which the results were reported. So I decided to hold all mine and see what happens. Perhaps he has a few tricks up his sleeve?? Gonna try to switch off now for a few days, especially with the way the US is going tonight (don't look if you haven't seen it!). Taking the kids down to Legoland, London, and Thorpe Park for a few days. All being well, gonna try and catch a show in London, hopefully help the R4E cause a little bit :-) All the best, don't forget what's really important in life. | jakleeds
10/4/2014 21:10 | Just catching up from the day, if I'm honest although there was a strong forward looking statement it was the going concern statement that made me sell this morning, I also thought EPS would be higher. | greenroom78
10/4/2014 20:10 | The balance sheet doesn't seem to show a yoy improvement? I didn't like the results and also out. | chrisis33
10/4/2014 18:55 | Pretax profits were 20 percent higher than forecast, but 2014 numbers have been trimmed but still over 1p. Anyone see anything else about that is a pe under 10 and now growing profits? | stegrego
10/4/2014 16:27 | Note 5 shows the problem here. To get an extra 6.4 million turnover the costs in terms of staff and promotional costs went up 5.8 million. Plus the risk of dilution to pay the remaining sums for Spotco. General office expenses increased too. There is operational leverage here, but it's not stunningly great unless they find greater "free" turnover. Quite like this company, and was expecting something better. Undervalued for a bigger player, but not much room for error as an independent player and a shareholder of it. Perhaps next year's results will indicate a turnaround. Also concerned that Stoller Family Partners has to stump up cash to refurbishment costs in New York, even as a bridging loan, and even if paid off at the end of the year. | vida
10/4/2014 16:23 | Well thanks to the "sell on news brigade" I have been able to get 30k today at a lower price than I envisaged having watched for the last few months. Bank refinancing is good strategy. With regards to interest rate potential rise, any FD would ensure forecasts include sensitivities to deal with various % upticks, and take out appropriate rate hedging facilities. I'm sure the bank wouldn't have refinanced without these. | mortimer7
10/4/2014 15:56 | The market liked it, hence the markup first thing this morning. It's sellers and the 'sell on the news' brigade that caused the drop IMO. | jakleeds
10/4/2014 15:42 | Good job the market is wrong 90 percent of the time then :) | stegrego
10/4/2014 15:35 | well whatever, the market don't like something........ | deanroberthunt
10/4/2014 15:09 | The forecasts are in the broker's Note. Just trying to understand it better. It appears the broker headlines PBT before exceptionals and amortisaton. Including those gave predicted PBT of £0.22m, so they've come in ahead of that. | briangeeee
10/4/2014 14:30 | Hmmm where those forecasts from a note or just a website? | stegrego
10/4/2014 14:20 | To issue a trading statement in early Feb, well after year end, to say the results were going to be in line with market expectations (PBT = £0.68m, EPS 0.9p), and then to come out with results that fall well short is disappointing to say the least. | briangeeee
10/4/2014 12:57 | Jakleeds this is why a lot of people think this recovery, generally, is fake.....there are so many people and businesses on the brink, just getting by, by the skin of their nose with the BOE rate at 0.5%....that if they hike it, it'll all come tumbling down again... | deanroberthunt |
