02/12/2018 01:18 | Digital will be interesting in the trading statement. Mailonline is doing much worse than Reach in viewer numbers but still managed a 5% revenue increase in its latest report. I am hoping now Reach is the largest UK news source it will be able to generate the extra revenue that the number one generally gets. | harry_david
01/12/2018 00:41 | 2 Directors have purchased, small in the scheme of things. But the mm are anticipating some interesting developments which have been noted here before. 2 week's is the company statement, some good news will propel the shares north. Tried Land Registry for information but you need to be a subs members to access some imformation. | cityconindex
30/11/2018 23:43 | What`s your point freddie? | bingham
30/11/2018 17:40 | Politically this company is quite important, yup the share price may be being manipulated. Who? Somebody with money. | freddie ferret
23/11/2018 17:30 | Wonder what Desmond must be thinking about the value of his shares 12 p below. Allocation price. Incredible the director purchased 100k at 70p, a major asset been sold, pensions deficit reduced, hopefully the end of the phone tapping scandal. The price is being manipulated for sure. Who by ? | cityconindex
21/11/2018 11:37 | Indeed CJohn - that article is far to clever for me, so I won't be reading it. Other than the fact that both JPR and RCH were/are newspaper groups with debt; I would if they also realised that : JPR's net debt was about 25 years of Free Cashflow (probably more like 30 years as the quoted net debt included the discount on the bonds which would have appreciated markedly if there was any prospect of repayment) wheras RCH's net debt is less than 2 years of FCF. | kazoom
21/11/2018 09:47 | investorschampion 19 Nov '18 - 11:46 - 198 of 200 0 0 0 Lessons from Johnston Press could be valuable for Reach investors. This is also a company in a dying industry with a massive pension deficit and poor balance sheet. hxxps://www.investor Cor!! Now there's an insight from left-field. I don't think anyone on the Reach BB had seen that parallel before your timely intervention, investors' champion. | cjohn
15/11/2018 15:37 | Just so CJohn, just so. So long as you remember to only buy it if it will go up and you'll be fine. | kazoom
15/11/2018 14:46 | Chartist is the word you're looking for I think. | trident5
15/11/2018 14:01 | So what you're saying, Kazoom, is if it goes up, it'll go up. And if it doesn't, it won't. May I refer to you as Buddha? Please? | cjohn
14/11/2018 22:32 | Kazoom last paragraph is the nugget. 30Mil 10 for us 10 for pension 10 for debt everyone appy. | cityconindex
14/11/2018 20:26 | "Nearly a breakout?" Or put another way - up against overhead resistance! I remain somewhat agnostic about chart patterns (and am certainly not any kind of expert), but it seems to me that there are perhaps two key things to look at in terms of resistance. (1) The 18 month downtrend resistance that the current price is nudging and (2) The month and a half long rectangle which is also being tested. The big thing though I think about breakouts is that they actually have to happen in order to have any chance of being predictive. So being "nearly" at a breakout will IME more often result in a pullback than the breakout actually transpiring. But of course we shall see, but I would agree that if the price closes up tomorrow it would look like a positive chart signal. I think the company telling the market what they have got / are getting for the Echo building though would be more significant - but maybe charts and newsflow are linked in some mystical fashion, I know not. | kazoom
14/11/2018 19:17 | I could believe it if there was a bit more turnover. | harry_david

14/11/2018 15:30 | Nearly a breakout? | qs99
12/11/2018 11:36 | They have a lot of surplus property. So they must already be renting out some. What I'm saying is, I don't see them buying more property, for the specific purpose of re-selling or renting. They don't have the expertise. | cjohn
10/11/2018 19:29 | When I asked the same question about developing, they said "we are not a property company". I suggested that making it a lease would have guaranteed rents and service charges well into the future or keep part of the development for reach, seemed to go over their heads, with the same stock answer. If the sale produces £30m plus it would really strengthen the balance sheet. People I know would never let go of a property with so much potential. Let's see how the board spend our money. Definitely be miffed if their wages jump. Look at what's said after the turquoise box hxxps://www.campaign | cityconindex
09/11/2018 21:22 | no turning there old city center office space into offices shops etc for rental | ccraig69
09/11/2018 19:00 | You mean start trading in property…..? I really can't see that. | cjohn
08/11/2018 21:27 | I always thought reach would morph into a property company | ccraig69
08/11/2018 18:40 | Hopefully the shuk is waking up to the gross undervaluation. hxxps://www.liverpoo | cityconindex |
