Spangle,

What about Edgon/Europa in East Midlands?

Just to start a conversation..

Ref "Field A" on page 14 of that presentation, it refers to a field that's producing 130 b/d with reserves of 1.4 MMbbl. You'd think that would be traceable. Best I can do is Horndean or Palmers Wood - former has the rate but not the volume, and the latter is pretty opaque on the internet. [

Up in the East Midlands, Scampton North and Beckingham are around 100 b/d

But all of these 4 are operated by Igas, who I don't suppose is likely to value external investment

Check the details of the raise sammy, institutional raise not retail.

Also thought that 1000bodp + exploration upside was very good and the prospect in germany looks huge.

Croasdalelfc,I would happily back the acquisition of a stake in a producing field, I wonder where it would be though, south, east Midlands or Lincolnshire?Cash

Think they cut retail mainly because they didnt want to do a discount but also because they know what retail do, retail just flip for 10-20%.

Instis hold, might sell a small chunk every so often but they will always keep a core holding.

Says a lot about the board, top stuff.

Yes, I read that. I think they were a bit miffed with the retail investors forward selling into the market IMHO so they decided to cut down from the 12 million to only include II's. That was my take on it anyway.

Has anyone seen this from a RBD presentation: it feels like one they showed to the city

''Reabold is raising at least £12M to build a unique portfolio of high quality European assets
 Multiple opportunities to deploy capital
 Innovative model
 Proven execution
 Provides material exposure to 8+ high impact wells in 12-18 months''

EDIT from me: investments to include UK onshore in a producing field to bring it up to 1000 bopd; another Romanian license next to Parta ; and a German appraisal well.

Cash in the pot: £2.5m in Feb 2018 plus placing £7.9m =£10.4m minus expenses minus £1m for additional Corallian investment ......so circa £9m

Spangle,

Yes, I agree. That coastline, with almost 10klm sandy beach at Bournemouth and hills north of Swanage, is stunning. I'm not surprised locals would be wary of any drilling let alone the wildlife community. However, I think they will get permission for a quick drill, no testing or other ops and then safely plug and abandon - and that is all that is required at this stage. RBD and Corallian have always said any development would be via ERD from existing facilities at Wytch farm, which tells me (as you infer above) they already have an exit strategy once this asset is firmed up.

Cash - Yes, the Colter appraisal will be drilled by a mobile unit, almost certainly a jack-up. caters is right that there'll be stringent environmental hurdles, and probably greens with binoculars looking for sheen on the water.

Corallian's plans are described in this document, which I'm sure you've already seen

The Dorset folk aren't that keen, e.g. wildlife trust

Or more bandwaggonny, with that a-hole Chris Packham (who I bet drives a 4x4)

I think it's going to be far more challenging to deliver a development in the event of a successful appraisal. Weymouth Bay is too shallow for a subsea development, given the amount of fishing and amenity boating, and I can't see any plan to site an offshore installation 5km from the shoreline of Swanage is going to succeed. The article hints that Corallian is planning ERD from shore anyway

Maybe RBD's plan to realise a gain is to hope for a value-adding appraisal, and then for Corallian to sell to a bigger player?

caters,

Colter is planned as an offshore well, albeit near-shore.

iLeeman, it won't be an issue with Wick well as it's offshore. UPL made point about it not having to jump same hurdles as an onshore well.

Any drill in/near UK shores always gets the evironmental freaks, this is nothing new. Look at horsehill their cars were getting blocked etc.

Difference to RBD is that its offshore so a lot easier, final decision is with the o&g authority.

Worth noting UOG conference call who farmed into Colter stated everything in place, nothing to worry about, final approval will be rig inspection.

The anti-drilling lobby are getting quite organised and I can see issues with getting the okay for this inshore appraisal well.

Just my view.
