FURTHER?... to go in the US Bubble, some think

"As I have previously argued, however, housing prices are definitely due for a breather here, but who's to say we can't just have a severe and temporary correction here - similar to the severe decline of gold prices from December 1975 to September 1976? Given my global economic slowdown scenario (but not an outright recession), we could very well see a slowdown in homebuilding in the next 12 to 18 months- but a resumption of the uptrend thereafter. This is very much in the cards - as long as the yield of the long bond remains stable at current levels."

tempted to take profits, tolls down but bonds are up.

Steven roach on bloomberg today saying china will slow, commodities/inflation will come down and TNX will be 3%.

This guys been bearish on stocks for last 2 years, one of the reason morgan stanley has underperfomed.

US housing looks expensive, on fundamentals.

WE know prices overshoot. i don't get why bright people always seem to fall out. The idiots I understand, but intelligence includes open minds..

Housing Affordability Is Plunging Even With Relatively Minor Rate Increases

In my opinion a house crash wont be the trigger of an economic slowdown, a slowdown in the US and loss of jobs will cause a viscous cricle of declining house prices, a snowball effect will ensue creating further economic slowdown, loss of jobs and further falls.

You set yourself up to be famous, to be shot down, which means YOU will never make it, you forget the hindrance of an Ego.

Seriously, because you do not know matey, but you post anyway in the HOPE that you might be right.
