Oh dear. Oh dear indeed, QuePassa!
1/ Judging by the large number of votes cast against the AGM resolutions for re-election of two of the directors and for approval of a share issue, can one assume NH voted against all three as share trustee before the AGM, but cannot sell?
2/ Can one further assume that she was refused admittance because she no longer holds any shares as personal beneficial owner, and therefore has sold this smaller number of shares?
3/ Finally can one assume that she knew perfectly well she would be refused admittance by having her photo taken in front of two bouncers immediately outside of the AGM door?

If so, all rather sad and silly by all those involved.

Clarification should come no later than the Interim results to be announced on 18 September 23 - in the meantime opinions will differ about upside or downside from 24p

Oh dear.

Just released...

....another Exclusive from Roll On Friday which writes, inter alia, that "Foulston barred from AGM as accusations fly" .

Those of a nervous disposition may or may not wish to peruse the article.

all imo. dyor.

You're right about the silence. Most companies would have released a comment about the falling shareprice ages ago

grant,

when I look at your post number 961 of 6th. May 2023, I do wonder whether it is just wishful thinking on your behalf or talking your own book.

This is what you wrote (including the memorable words ""it's just too cheap where it is now") :-

"I'd stupidly first looked at this at 38p and thought I should go for it but held off and held off...finally took my chance yesterday on the drop and feel pretty happy. If a few things go right...could honestly be a 3x investment over two years in my opinion. Multiple re-rating, growing earnings and margins, and all the added upside from litigation cases. PLus the cash coming in from Lionfish...it's just too cheap where it is right now."

Price then 35p. Now 24p.

hmmm.....

Care to comment?

In the case of Elsa, definitely just talking her own losing position but coated in candy.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

That's very kind. A number of folk reached out to me which I was flattered by as my posts on here have been very occasional and indeed looking back months not always entirely complimentary!
The above is written in good faith.
I will not be posting any further or replying to any messages. I've said my piece.

Surely not….an actually skilfully written and balanced of this company. Excellent and the first helpful viewpoint of where we are on any of the bulletin boards.

I have spoken to many a high ranking barrister and solicitor; nothing but very high regard for the two law firms.

A lot of moving parts but this has real room to be an excellent investment.

I’ve been totally shocked by the barrage of comments by people simply saying this is a dud purely because of the share price movement. Ridiculous and silly.

Please, get real, what is the share price telling you? There are serious underlying problems at the company.

5 years ago the original IPO valued the Group at £36 million :: the price paid for MC was £30 million :: leaving everything else out of the equation the mkt cap is now £24 million -- so IF there's a future there's room for price to recover

It 'should have' recovered from 35p/45p. The actual point here is, nobody can call it.

I'm also putting the debt into context after earlier comments. If the business shrinks, cash goes up/and or debt goes down. So long as debt is less than the balance of payables and receivables then net debt should generally shrink more rapidly than any reduction in business levels.

That's precisely the point ! If there's a future the price should recover from 24p - which is definitely not 45p or 35p !

That's what was said at 35p, oh, and 45p before that.

£40m of receivables and £4m of payables so £22m total debt not that big a deal. The shares should stop falling here since it's close to realisable cash value - and that means potential profit and the £27m book value of investments is being valued at pretty much nothing by the market. The descent from 35p to here looks like the sharp capitulation you get at the end, as we've seen from a few posters saying they have finally given up and sold out.

If there is a way back then this is a good place to start from - 75% down in 12 months and 30% down in 5 days - tipping point might be close !

Took the painfull decision to sell, having read what happened at the similar ince group, the debt makes me nervous. In theory it could spend the next couple of years reducing debt and emerge a stronger company, time will tell.
