17/5/2023 09:36 | Your theory may possibly have merit and not one I had considered. I didn't initially think it was NF selling as while she may have had faults I believe she is shrewd and likely to only look after her best interests, and I don't believe selling at these levels is that. I see her fairly recent personal buys as I believe you do; an attempt to court favour with colleagues (especially after doing the video when she said she didn't personally feel aligned with shareholders because she'd put her substantial holding in Trust!) and support a falling share price when her strategy depended upon it. | scubadiverr
17/5/2023 09:34 | Ticking up again. Bid up to 35.5p. Is that it done? Lots of small buys - and a few not small - seem to be finally having an effect now. | aleman
17/5/2023 09:28 | It's an interesting point you make but 1% changes in shareholdings above 3% still have to be reported whether they are directors or not. Once a large sell order is complete, they are supposed to notify within 3 days. There will be announcements at some point - but when will the sell order(s) be completed? | aleman
17/5/2023 09:28 | was Nicola the responsible one that loaded this with debt? | farrugia
17/5/2023 09:21 | Why do people think it may be Nicola Foulston selling her shares? The vast bulk (11.41m shares) was reported by RNS at Dec 2022 as still being held in a family trust she controlled known as Cascades. Not held by her personally, but she can still vote them. Furthermore on 5, 6 and 9 Dec 2022 RNS reported that she personally bought a total of 385,000 shares (possibly from Ian Rosenblatt!). The prices were between 64.65p and 68.75p. Was this an effort to counter the board’s wish to fire her? She is feisty no doubt, but was generally an excellent RBG CEO. Nobody yet knows whether the decision to dispose of her and of Lion Fish will prove a correct one. So, who has been selling? On 29 Nov 2019 the RNS reported that Ian Rosenblatt had pledged his entire 16.9m shares (21.1% of the total!) as security for a £6m bank loan to pay a personal tax demand. At that time the share price covered the loan. Now it does not and has the bank been forcing the sales? They are both no longer directors and so their shareholdings are now unreported. However it is not impossible that Nicola Foulston is keeping her powder dry for a takeover as CEO. | tomtrudgian
17/5/2023 08:21 | Bought a chunk at 33 this morning; why not! | smidge21
17/5/2023 08:05 | Due a bounce IMO, oversold and have bought a few quid on that assumption! DYOR | qs99
17/5/2023 07:24 | Nearly 300k already so looking likely to be another high volume day? | aleman
16/5/2023 20:20 | She wouldn't have to disclose due to being a previous employee, but because of the size of her holding. We don't know that it is her, but that's my guess. I'm hoping for an RNS in the morning. And hopefully a large bounce. | scubadiverr
16/5/2023 20:08 | If it was her maybe as she is no longer employed there, there won't be any RNS issued. She would have lost over half of her investment because she was buying right up until Christmas at around 70p for the last batch I saw the trades go through , she accepted the trade at 32 p which was 1.5p below the prevailing market price at that time. .it seems she was desperate to sell no matter what the price...if it was her , then one would think the surge in sales should stop, unless it triggers a domino effect downward spiral in price. Hopefully that won't be the case .. possibly a bounce tomorrow ? | candid investor
16/5/2023 20:08 | She should have to disclose any transactions due to having/had a holding over 3/5%. As to the timings I'm not sure. Looking at the last few days trading, it's possible that 12m have now been sold. Whether that's all been from the same seller or a lot of PI's have also significantly contributed to that selling, I guess that will be relieved in the next few days. I topped up again today as while the price could still go lower, so long as earnings are as forecast, and with the elephantine cases still a possibility, this has to be good value in the long-term. | scubadiverr
16/5/2023 19:52 | How often are the Top Shareholders register generally updated so we would be able to see if her shares were going down? | aeonflux
16/5/2023 17:00 | Another day, another low. The reality of it. | tradingcoder
16/5/2023 16:44 | Another 150k appeared - but that seems small beer now. | aleman
16/5/2023 16:01 | That's my presumption. So many sold without an RNS yet would be a massive order being worked. Funds don't usually work like that. They don't like the (bad?) publicity that can come with market-distorting orders so they tend to edge their way in or out over time, with occasional RNSs moving 1 or 2%. This is likely to be a big RNS when it comes so I can only imagine its the ex-CEO - not that I'd stake my life on it. You see lots of weird things in markets if you stick around long enough. | aleman
16/5/2023 15:54 | Has to the ex-ceo getting out surely? She had 11,900,264 shares. | aeonflux
16/5/2023 15:48 | Two are probably a rollover. | simonsmithiv
16/5/2023 15:44 | I'm not going to add all that lot up exactly but that must be 16-17m traded since April 25th. | aleman
16/5/2023 15:36 | Another 3 x 1m sold! | aleman
16/5/2023 15:35 | They reduced the offer at the end again to get rid of them I think. Shouldn't be too long now, obviously oversold down here, hence the buying from everyone else. | simonsmithiv
16/5/2023 15:32 | Lots of smaller buys again but it's mounting up to big buying volume on sheer numbers. How much is that now since results, after this afternoon's rush - 13m plus? There's only 95m out there. The seller has to run out soon if this keeps up. | aleman
16/5/2023 15:26 | QuePassa Time will tell if I worship you or curse you for your comments...I cashed out a 12% loss earlier ...the problem with what you said is that it is all turning out to be true I should have sold as soon as things calmed down after sacking the CEO The problem with this stock as I found out today is that there are no buyers unless you accept a large discount on the quoted share price ..this discount can be as high as 2%to3% as I discovered to my cost earlier Why didn't you write your post on Friday afternoon before I topped up ? | candid investor
16/5/2023 15:20 | Oversold, high volume and big sell out the way? Could it be ready to bounce? free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | simonsmithiv
16/5/2023 15:16 | Could that be it? Bid moving up a little. I topped up again. | aleman
16/5/2023 15:06 | Agree Aleman and there's the reason, a 1.35m sell. Now it's out it can hopefully move back up. | simonsmithiv |
