19/3/2021 22:00 | Does that mean a stronger rouble and better for profits ? | montyhedge
19/3/2021 15:07 | Russia increases the key rate by 25 b.p to 4.50% p.a. | kenny
18/3/2021 15:00 | If you have some already and you know you're getting more cheap, you might sell in anticipation. There's a noticeable fall in the ords today. | zangdook
18/3/2021 14:56 | Unlikely any ex-Invesco shares being flipped, as my understanding is these will be bought by the Company and management once the transaction is approved by shareholders and that has not happened yet. | 2akop
17/3/2021 12:29 | Not sure it means much. Either: 1. Someone selling a few because bond yields rising 2. Some of the ex-Invesco holding being flipped which was pretty invetible and I'm surprised we haven't seen more of it. 3. Someone didn't like the results Either way the weak holders have sold out and the shares have passed to someone paying around 114p who will have more committment to holding them long term. | cc2014
17/3/2021 12:09 | Indeed. 900k at what looks like mid-market at the time. Quite a few lumps went through on the 16th too, all at close to the offered side. | stun12
16/3/2021 16:53 | Anyone notice that massive trade yesterday? | my retirement fund

15/3/2021 11:40 | Yes strong underlying business like you said, the most important thing. Just bought another Russian company Fix Price the Russian Poundland, must be mad, lol. | montyhedge
15/3/2021 10:09 | Results out. Big kick from the exchange. Big plus from the Prefs (thanks Woodford!). Occupancy good, so hopefully long term decent prospects and should be resilient for the Prefs. | igbertsponk
15/3/2021 10:02 | Underlying results much better than I expected but overall loss even worse than my most pessimistic view by around £20m. Overall loss due of course to exchange rates. I'll take that. I'd rather have a strong underlying business. | cc2014
02/3/2021 16:57 | No idea but they are probably still preparing the legal documents. Results for 2020 are due on 15 March - which will show a massive loss due to depreciation of the rouble against sterling. I am guessing, and I stress it is only a guess, that the results will come first. In the interim, it is bizarre that RAVP is going down in the context of the ordinaries going up. | kenny
02/3/2021 13:55 | Anyone any idea when the EGM will be called to approve the Invesco share purchases and the placement of new prefs? | 2akop
28/2/2021 18:08 | Government bond prices dropped again, pushing up yields further. Five- and 10-year gilt yields rose to their highest level since March, after the Bank of England’s chief economist, Andy Haldane, warned that an inflationary “tiger” might be on the loose, which means that borrowing costs could be raised sooner than markets expect. In a speech entitled Inflation: A Tiger by the Tail?, he warned central bankers against becoming complacent about the risks posed by rising inflation. | pogue
26/2/2021 15:05 | Very few monty - the December divi saw just 30,777 new prefs issued to satisfy the scrip divis. | igbertsponk
26/2/2021 14:52 | Dividend reinvestment plans will, some investors who bought don't look at the price everyday probably every year when portfolio valuation appear on the doormat. | montyhedge
25/2/2021 18:20 | Pref divi circular out, Scrip is at 135p, so doubt many will take it up. | igbertsponk
18/2/2021 10:08 | Ex Div today, so another 3p on the way explains this mornings ONLY 2p drop. I suspect it'll manage the full 3p though! | igbertsponk
15/2/2021 14:07 | Ex div Thursday, another nice dividend in the tax free isa bag. | montyhedge
14/2/2021 14:16 | Damp seaweed, Don't forget vast amounts of gas, gold, silver, coal and already healthy reserves. Probably other commodities too. | gary1966
14/2/2021 14:08 | Heard that argument since 2008, always paid out, never missed a quarter will only get stronger in my view. | montyhedge
13/2/2021 08:01 | There are a number of external factors that will probably hold back the rise of the share price, namely; Russian political tensions with the west. Internal political tensions, and the economic outlook is not great, particularly as it is so dependent on oil. I’d expect us to hover in the 120+p area for quite a time. Early next week we may see a small continuation of this most welcome price recovery. But 3p ex div later in the week will knock back the price. | damp seaweed
12/2/2021 16:06 | I know this is U.K, but probably applies worldwide.https://ww | montyhedge
12/2/2021 15:55 | back to working orders at 120 on the bid. 124 Next if we can get through then 127 Next and onto 140 hopefully. | bigraybear888 |
