Bailed my holding recently at 1600.
If they had only tracked the market rally over the last 3 months they would be comfortably over £20.
As a fund manager they should have risen along with the market rally but they didn't. Sadly private investors are always the last to know about problems and while I struggle to imagine what could have gone wrong I am unwilling to wait and find out.
There should be an update soon and if that is positive AND the share price reacts positively then I may well buy back in again.

Wrong I use FI most of the time and then I have to use MT very occasionaly when on local authority PCs they know my username but not my password and it is registered with them. As is the PC address and ISP..all in councils managements name.

Its the same for all voluntary workers and employees of the council and as been for 3 years now due to security.

No, negative search so far. Not on the board of the Investors Support Fund either.

By the way, I have just had another windfall on some shares I owned. Would a donation to a charity of your choice settle the matter?

Shall we say £100?

Well, even a few is better than none...

Someone once famously said that the power of the bulletin boards bring investors together... well he was right about that!

"...Jason Hollands of London-based financial adviser Bestinvest is in no doubt about what investors in Rathbone Special Situations should do -- get out. He says: "I see no case for investors staying with this fund now that Evershed has gone.

"The fund was all about Evershed and his quirky investment ways. While Carl Stick may be a capable replacement, he's going to have his hands full managing three trusts..."

(extract from a Daily Mail article)

If the Jason Hollands reaction is typical of how financial advisors feel about the situation this presumably will lose Rathbones some business?
