Rank Takeover Rumours (RNK)

It's possible that was a buy? Hearsay from speculation, Rank could be being eyed up for a takeover, though I suppose that could be said all the time for alot of what look like cheap companies. So I have no idea except the shares are at or close to historic lows. If there is someone interested then todays rise I would think is peanuts for a bid to be taken seriously. Rank has a 50% plus shareholder so we have no say anyway.
