sparty1 -...Have a look at COVE ENERGY

My pick is Cove Energy (LSE: COV). Cove Energy has Tanzanian gas interests, but it is Mozambique, especially the off-shore prospects, that are really exciting. The firm hold an 8.5% interest in the Windjammer well, where a significant gas discovery was recently announced. The well, with estimated gross resources of four trillion cubic feet of gas, was drilled at a cost of close to $100m. That's on the steep side, but future prospects are expected to be markedly cheaper. Industry giant Anadarko (with a market capitalisation of $35bn) is running the project and has secured a state-of-the-art deepwater rig. It is now planning up to a further five deepwater wells following the Windjammer success.
Naturally, Cove Energy's management wishes to ensure that ample working capital is available from raising new funds so that the company can continue to maintain its interest in such a potentially exciting drilling programme. I agree that the outlook is promising but do your own research.........you might well be very surprised

Captain Nelson , have you an opinion on EME? I am running the rule over it but my field is mining and you have very cogent , informative views on these small cap oilies.

Are there any better prospects out there than rrl or caza. I`m in both but always on the look out. Thanks in anticipation.

sagem the reason you are seeing so meny sellers is because with the spread the buy price is below the mid price so it goes through as a sell ... the true spread is aprox bid 4.25 offer 4,38

Just look at all those sellers appearing....do they not realise the potential, looks like selling for a small profit strapped for cash no doubt

With a quoted spread of 4.0-4.25 and price of 4.05, how can you tell for sure that that was a buy?

Old Park Lane research note - ".., we are confident that the shares are worth 12.8p on a fully diluted basis. This represents significant upside to the current share price."

So, what are you waiting for?

WOW...WOW...Range Resources is going to be the company of the year, after reading Old Park Lane Capitals coverage really brings it home the potential that this company has.....I just hope that the news when announced each time is good enough to keep the share price rising.....roll on the next news re Smith#1 well and what has been said( the impressive rate of production) I am sure we will not be disapointed.
