Good morning, shareholders. With a nice increase in share price yesterday and oil price good at $56.23 a barrel, plenty for shareholders to look forward to this week. New name, consolidation of shares and a new website with Eva's presentation that went down well at AGM last week.

Is this new name a con? Not something Range have done too often. I think it was Range Resources from 1982 to end of 2019. It was a small oil company based in WA (Perth).

Rory (2014-2014) tried to turn ship round a bit, by shaking up management, making sure workers were safe in Trinidad and trying to increase oil production.

Yan Liu (2015-2016) continued that policy. I think WTI oil price for a time under his leadership was less or about same as our direct production costs. So very unlucky CEO perhaps.

But Kerry Gu (2016- ) has brought a totally new approach. Attracting a lot of new investment, investigating new acquisitions, selling assets and working with his fellow board members to move away from fossil fuels to new cleaner, more ethical propositions.

And he has taken a major decision to change our name, to change the value of our shares by 100 so they make a bit more sense. A million shares for £300 sounds ridiculous. 10,000 for £300 sounds better to me.

I see the ego is going on about Aminex today. Didn't mention that it's dropped 20% last week so it's really only down 12.5% not up 7.5% as his ramp suggestsMust be desperate times at the B&BPs anybody had a visit from PC Plod - nah didn't think so

Looks like you will need 100 x to start to win, trev. Some of the shareholders pre-2014 like you have got eye-watering averages of well above what you paid in 2012, haven't they. Very, very sad.

Think if I bailed out on Monday I would get about £600. It is a lot of money for many - but not that bothered myself and have been resigned to losing everything on Range for quite a time now. Particularly when shares were suspended.

I honestly feel that last 3 managements (Scott-Russell, Yan Liu and now Kerry Gu) had/have interests of shareholders at heart to a degree. In fact, I think Gu is very truthful and very believable and, I hope, very capable. The four big shareholders clearly have faith in him and have extended contract of his COO Lubing Liu.

How Range are still in business is beyond me. Would make an excellent case study for business students in how they got into such a huge mess in 2009-2014 period, and how they have tried to turn around that big mess over last 6 years.

CYM: thanks for update. Amazing what these historical posters that were so far yo their own and others ars@s end up doing. I just remember his being so far up kevs ricker that he started banging on at me for questioning Kev. Was around the time Kev was spouting about the new royalties being signed and after then they would be “turning on the taps” haha. Laodsamoney lapping it all up. What ever happened to bellend Kev?

FinHe posts on here as martini069 and on ws as therealmartini069He bailed at 0.11p after the placing when the share price was 0.18 after giving it large ones......He was too embarrassed to post for 3 weeks but slowly crawled out from under his rock but hasn't felt strong enough to post as loadsamoney since but registered a new Martini nickname so he couldn't have the mockery taken out of him......

What ever happened to original loadsamoney on world stocks? He was a right b&tch boy for Kev. I remember him having a proper go at me because I dared to question the great Kev Yorks on some of his comments. Be interested to know what happened to him.
