30/10/2017 16:24 | Looking Good ! | chinese investor
30/10/2017 16:24 | Nah - all the Manafort charges are pre-Trunp and relate to when he was working with Podesta - who ran the Democrat campaign. It might run - but that is nothing to do with Trump. Great news for him in fact if that is all they have (which it is). Rise due to uncertainty on tax reform imho. | bonio10000
30/10/2017 16:18 | Nice little move in RRS share price and pog on the Paul Manafort news. This saga is going to run and run,the US judicial system isn't the quickest in the world. All good news for gold.Political uncertainty,Trump feeling more and more pressure to do something. | redbaron10
28/10/2017 10:03 | I think I am leaning bullish on RRS. Might be better to wait and see which way it breaks out of the box. | abc125
26/10/2017 16:24 | Telex Boy does it yet again ! Professor Pettigrew (RRS) 19 Aug '17 - 00:52 (around midnight) RRS to plunge from £75.50 now. Gold is in a short-term bear market. Three month target here £66.75. | chinese investor

16/10/2017 09:12 | evianone, good luck. | christh
16/10/2017 09:05 | Christh6, thanks for that little update, gold chart looks like it wants to push up and beyond 1,300 so 1,350 is a possibility, think world crisis may play a bigger part than US$ for now. We also have quarter 3 results at the beginning of November, normally, so lets hope for a decent one, no reason for them not to be as Interim Results report was very positive. Gold has rebounded since 6/10 when it was at 1,261 low. Had expected this to open higher today after USA results on Friday, as interest rates may be but on hold with no December increase. | evianone

16/10/2017 08:45 | jaji2630 16 Oct '17 - 08:56 - 8720 of 8720 Look at the price of Gold. The price of Rangold depends on a constant fight between US Dollar and Gold If US Dollar is strong then Gold price falls If US Dollar is weak then Gold price rises All politics involved in the US drive global markets. The US$ rules the world economies.Everything is pegged on the US$ as the worlds' strongest economy, supposingly stable country, well run, leader in financial markets. Rangold will do very well as the price of gold was as high as $1350+ which means the results will be good as production increased in various mines. It operates 5 gold mines in Africa - Loulo, Gounkoto and Morila in Mali, Tongon in Côte d'Ivoire and Kibali in the DRC. It could go as high as £90 or £120 depending on the variables with US$ and FED decisions also world crisis situation. The Dividend will be much higher as profits increased (price of gold rise)so will be looking at over 100p per share. Results in March. | christh
16/10/2017 07:56 | After all this chat, just wondered if anyone had a view on Randgold prices? | jaji2630
16/10/2017 05:03 | Yes, but two thirds of 2018 seats are democrat held anyway. It's a good cycle for him.Despite what the demtards want, there is nothing in Russia. | bonio10000
15/10/2017 18:26 | bonio10000,Trump will be lucky if he gets four years. The knives are out for him from everywhere. If mid-term congressional elections in 2018 go against him, he is toast as far as getting any meaningful legislation through.Presidential executive orders only go so far.His choice for Fed chair, after Yellen steps down ,is going to be pivotal for his economic plans, and any prospects for his re-election in 2020. | redbaron10
15/10/2017 08:47 | Trump is great. Entertaining as hell.Undoing 8 years of obozo will be a long job. | bonio10000
14/10/2017 03:08 | Well Jamie Dimon last evening said anyone buying bitcoin was 'stupid' and would pay for their folly one day.And the Donald has opened a new nuclear front with harsh words for the Iranians. It ain't dull in Trump's world. | redbaron10
13/10/2017 15:01 | It's an odd one. There is only one gold - but there are hundreds of cryptos. Who is to say bitcoin is the one and whilst its supply is limited, that of cryptos per se is not? To me it is just a bubble. No different to tulips. In 10 years there might be thousands of them - so what price bitcoin then? That and Gold is manipulated via the paper market. But you can hold gold - a blackout and someone's online wallet of II000II0III0II is worth nothing. That or the CB's ban exchanges. | bonio10000
13/10/2017 14:41 | CNBC just reported that bitcoin has risen 480% ytd.Wish gold would do that........maybe someday. | redbaron10
13/10/2017 12:44 | Yep - the FED's measure for inflation (I forget but Rickards talks about it) has been falling towards 1%. So raising rates is going to help - not. BTW - ECB are in the same place. That can't reinflate for love nor money. Now - a weak dollar would lead to inflation and boost gold..... | bonio10000
13/10/2017 12:34 | Miss on US inflation CPI and retail sales....... | redbaron10
13/10/2017 07:47 | Wasn't a Japanese engineering firm caught in an accounting scandal as well? I'm always suspicious of the emerging market story. I agree there is potential, but I have worked in most and am unconvinced they are wholly the road to success. | bonio10000 |
