Lol.Dow,S&P and Nasdaq all finished in the blue.US hit by a hurricane and N.Korea let loose a missile over Japan and the US markets end positive.Europe and the UK,who you could argue are all directly not affected by these events, all end up way in the red.You get the impression the US markets are no longer logical or in touch with reality! If their markets aren't shaken by these events,then their markets are playing by different rules now.Interesting to keep watching Deutsche Bank share price action.Their troubles aren't over yet by the looks of it.

The N.Korean problem isn't going to go away without a military solution, so still long gold for me.Dow has gone positive and dollar retraced some losses because a lot of end of month economic data coming up this week in the US,plus jobs numbers on Friday.No one wants to be short the dollar if economic data and jobs numbers surprise to the upside.Dollar could firm a bit with the Fed meeting coming up mid-September,but is Congress going to sign off the US budget at end of September? With Mr Trump in the WH which investors are not going to have gold in their portfolio as insurance? Very brave if they don't.

Technically and fundamentally the drivers for gold are extremly strong right now!, remember last time when gold hit $1375 just after Brexit, RRS was trading at £97.

Not much stopping Gold from making a jump back to those levels, with everything going on right now.
