04/7/2017 11:21 | The problem for those bullish gold, is that they need some sort of end of world scenario to see gold up at the lofty levels oft touted. God forbid such a scenario happens, but if we did see a financial armegeddon, I'm not sure a brick of gold would carry much value. | professor knobhead
04/7/2017 11:19 | So in summary, if prof pothead is bullish, you sell, and vice versa. Simples. | professor knobhead
04/7/2017 10:40 | My forecast is that Trump will unleash a massive spending spree, resulting in money printing galore. Also Yellen will get the boot, and the Fed will lose it's independence. This will send shock waves through the financial system and hard assets such as gold will soar in value. £67.50 here will seem a distant memory by 2020. | liberace pickles
04/7/2017 09:40 | Good morning stevenrevell - a decent poster ! | chinese investor
04/7/2017 09:21 | Trump will have a go at Korea and this will sore | stevenrevell
04/7/2017 08:43 | Gold always holds its own in the long-term. Central bankers have blown paper currencies to bits, and will continue to do so. Draghi once stated that the ECB will continue with very accommodative policies until inflation is "embedded above 2% for a sustained period". They always go over the top as we all know. The Chinese will be mopping up as much physical gold as they can at these levels, so a superb opportunity to buy one of the truly magnificent gold stocks. Recent bullish RNS completely overshadowed by the unwarranted drop in bullion in any case. Just wait until Trump starts to ramp things up. Gold will soar over $3000 in the next few years. | liberace pickles
04/7/2017 07:57 | Again I urge you not to engage with Professor Pettigrew or his wife who is NOT the sort of person I want on my Decent Thread ! We are here to talk about RRS going to £100 ! | chinese investor
04/7/2017 07:23 | When my hubby gets all agitated as he did last night I give him a special favour which calms him down. Actually I gave the same special favour to all the men in Kingswood Drive last night. My jaw aches. | giant haystacks
04/7/2017 07:10 | Excellent find there CI. Much appreciated. Respected analyst Joni Teves(an ex-colleague, 1970's) gets it right more often than not. Mourning dave. Morning and good luck to all decent people. | michaelsadvfn
04/7/2017 06:24 | Central banks want gold and silver to tumble. Dont fight them. | professor knobhead
04/7/2017 04:00 | From here, “gold currently looks vulnerable,” UBS Group AG analyst Joni Teves said in a note. “Higher yields and market participants digesting a hawkish shift in tone among key central banks of late, while equities stay resilient around all-time highs,” are negative factors for the metal. | chinese investor
03/7/2017 22:26 | And "michaels".......... | professor pettigrew
03/7/2017 20:04 | Excellent research CI. Much appreciated. | michaelsadvfn
03/7/2017 19:22 | Come on Gold! We love you. | fez77
03/7/2017 18:56 | "The bears took advantage of a thin, holiday-type trading atmosphere to pounce on the gold market Monday, pushing prices sharply lower and to a seven-week low. Prices were ended near their daily lows as of this writing. The recent quieter world geopolitical scene is prompting scant demand for the safe-haven metal." | chinese investor
03/7/2017 18:37 | Gold will soon be $1,000. | wrestlingmad
03/7/2017 18:06 | Gold down 21$ as I write, so you must be doing very well indeed | boraki |
