And just look at the late trades!! Millions of pounds worth of buys registered after the bell. They brought the price down during the day to fill large orders it seems. If the gold price can hold we are in for some great days here.

Miti 1000, they have been reviewing it for years. Reform negotiations have failed again and again. The thing is they desperately need the mining industry to survive so the reforms have to work for the mining companies.

Not good news that the DRC are reviewing the mining code of 2002 to maximise their share of revenue. Not surprising RRS came off.Would imagine it will be weak tomorrow as well.

That was a tree shake this afternoon ? RNS arrived a couple of minutes after the coming bell confirming Kibali on track to full production....and 610,000 ounces this year up from 585k last year and rising to 750000 in 2018. "One of the world's great gold mines". Game on.

Ive been bullish for quite a while on gold. I was worried in December that we would go lower but Im glad I was wrong. It didn't take me long to realise. I am looking forward to the french elections as I think Marie Le Pen will (rightly) win the election. I don't think the markets have priced this in or even accepted it yet. It will mean the end of the EU (hooray) and selfish though it is I can't complain that it will also make my holiday in Majorca a lot cheaper ;)
