22/3/2018 13:53 | Why is this rising at the moment? Asking for a friend... | villarich
21/3/2018 15:56 | In the absence of any news, it seems to me that the share price is just mirroring the FTSE AIM AllShare & general market weakness. Certainly don't see a 15% pullback as anything to worry about & view an oversold RSI & approaching 200 MA as an opportunity to add. | xajorkith
21/3/2018 11:02 | Maybe the blackbird is trying to tell you something yump. It could have concerns about the foreign exchange side of the business. | shrout
21/3/2018 10:46 | Perhaps you should buy more when it rises by 10% and sell when it falls by 10% just to be on the safe side. Is it just on ADVFN that most posters don't understand sarcasm ? | yump
21/3/2018 10:39 | Presume no downgrade that anyone knows of? | qs99
21/3/2018 09:32 | Because this is the stock market where shares are traded. I'm afraid I haven't got any other explanation. For that matter, why has it gone up from 120p and why did it go up and then down and then up and then down and then up and then down recently ? Why is there a blackbird sitting outside my window ? | yump
21/3/2018 09:17 | Why is this fading at the moment? | patthehat1
13/3/2018 09:18 | HAT results were very strong and ahead of broker estimates, even with different revenue drivers than RFX, I think we can take them as a positive read across here. FX is a significant portion of business here and relatively smaller and different at HAT, but I am still confident that Christmas trading will be positive and talking from my own experience flying out of Gatwick on Sunday 4th March it felt like the middle of Summer, maybe something to do with the cold winter. Retail could be an increasingly important driver for RFX, currently about 16% of sales but this grew by 40% at the interim's. They have a very efficient online Jewellery website, it only reported revenues of £105k from a very small base +331%. But the HAT online Jewellery sales reported today were £1.0m from £0.1m in one year. RFX have a rather low valuation which could be about a PER of 10 when the results are released, seems rather good value in these markets. | interceptor2
13/3/2018 07:49 | HAT Results look ahead of forecast to me. Rev's £110m (£100.5m), PBT £14.1m (£12.9m), EPS 30.94p (30.2p). Divi 10.5p (10.25p). "Future with confidence". Sparkling! Nice read across. | martinthebrave
13/3/2018 07:21 | Very strong results at HAT with growing confidence for future. Strong read across here | ronwilkes123
12/3/2018 12:58 | If hat results are excellent tomorrow this will soar | ronwilkes123
12/3/2018 09:03 | The outlook tomorrow in the HAT results could add 5-10p here imo | ronwilkes123
10/3/2018 11:12 | There's a new one just opened where I live in Northallerton. I'll pop in next week and ask how it's started. | basem1
09/3/2018 11:00 | Should never have fallen so farI was in a Ramsdens earlier so busy, staff were so friendly, excellent customer service. I have doubts about p2p for foreign currency, I have used it for lending money, the amount of issues I had suggests it isn't worth the time and effortWell set for HAT results on Tuesday | ronwilkes123
09/3/2018 10:16 | Thanks Ron - just read the link, very useful. | lammylover
09/3/2018 09:17 | The credit card change posted on the HAT thread is extremely positive for Ramsdens and surprised most have missed it in their analysis | ronwilkes123
09/3/2018 08:52 | Good call Ron. Should easily breakthrough 200p plus in run up to results. Only risk I see is if Chancellor throws in some "swerve ball" tax change at the UK Spring Budget on Tuesday, but I cant think what that could be? Holding mine regardless, for full year update. Rich | lammylover
09/3/2018 08:11 | Seller finished, main competitor results on Tuesday, our own results in three weeks, time to buy imo | ronwilkes123
08/3/2018 17:58 | HAT results on Tuesday will be a good indicator, if they are good expect another 5-10p on the price here | ronwilkes123
08/3/2018 13:48 | I suppose it might be worth considering whether its actually a good business with a low rating, in the absence of any conclusions from the chart (even if charting were predictive at all), that is the only thing that is going to help predict the most likely future. What there is, ignoring the conclusionless chart (unless you get very excited by the 10% rises and very gloomy about the 10% falls), is a business lowly rated, paying out a good dividend, with a good update and outlook. If that's not enough to base a decision on I don't know what is - everything else is conjecture. The chart might possibly be some use on judging an entry point, but only if you're worried about the odd 10% here and there. | yump
08/3/2018 10:41 | H&T figures on Tuesday if good, which they have already advised will be will give a good read across boost to Ramsdens | ronwilkes123
08/3/2018 10:15 | Agreed all trades at bid suggests this will bounce fast | ronwilkes123
08/3/2018 09:59 | Bounce started....hopefully move onto 200p plus in readiness for trade update around 10th April.. | lammylover
08/3/2018 09:54 | Added just, looks like the recent seller might be done as moving up freely this morning. One of the best ltbh opportunites I can find at the moment. | bigbigdave
08/3/2018 08:27 | Chart looks a great entry point IMO. Not surprised by the retrace but loads of support in the low 170's. Below 165p would not be good although an intra day spike down to that before rallying is possible? Unfortunately I failed to slice over 200p so will have to hold. | martinthebrave |
