10/2/2020 09:52 | Sometimes, he said cynically a fall precedes a rise! | chinadog3
10/2/2020 09:13 | just look at how over values SOLG is and under valued ALTN is for an example | excellance
10/2/2020 08:47 | the markets are often irrational, as are the media, in fact humans generally. | excellance
10/2/2020 08:44 | Ex as usual the media blow everything out of proportion. An average 6,000 a year die in the U.K. alone from flue virus of one kind or another, so no need for panic just yet and yes she is. I see a big drop this morning for no reason other than someone must have dumped a few as copper is up a bit and the news the other day sureley means that we are producing at well below sale price, otherwise how are we making re-payments on the loan, MM's a law unto themselves. | cinoib
09/2/2020 22:09 | Cinoib, the coronavirus situation looks terrible, but is it worse than our media say or are they exaggerating? Is your wife having to stay indoors and Wear a mask outside? | excellance
07/2/2020 10:33 | E, perhaps the significant reason for the time line change, is last year they were clearly suffering from a cash short fall and that was the priority in early 2019 and hence results delayed, the excellent production and operational progress in 2019, will hopefully demonstrate a material improvement in the financial stability,......GL S | swizz
07/2/2020 09:53 | Morning ex, no closed because of Corona virus. Holidays finishes this weekend but told not to come to work untill next month at the earliest. Yes somewhere more exotic, Portugal. Nasty spread this morning, when are MM's going to realise you can't create a market on a 20% spread all they are doing is killing it, greedy sods. | cinoib
06/2/2020 17:47 | Isn't peking university closed til March due to holiday? | excellance
06/2/2020 16:46 | a farm in the mountains? sounds idyllic. in the English hills or somewhere more exotic? welcome back! | excellance
06/2/2020 16:36 | Ex, No sorry you'll have to put up with me a bit longer after selling 80% of my stock to buy the farm I still hold some here, in fact is now 75% of my remaining stock portfolio, so n deep. My wife is a school teacher at Peking uni, so untill we've signed on the dotted line she is home and at the moment staying as all schools are closed untill March at the earliest. She will be quitting her job and joining me in the mountains in July or August depending how things go over there. If you not guest already she is Chinese, make very good wives, this is my second. not read the news yet as just come in so will take a butchers in a moe, will explain the buying frenzy also for those who don't have maths in their head. If you take out a 2 mill loan and intend to repay in 9 months then you are making a profit otherwise how do you repay the loan. That's for the thickies and believe you me there are a few out there. | cinoib
06/2/2020 15:56 | i'm really disappointed by the market reaction here, these are good solid production numbers. I don't understand why they released them now, they didn't do this last year until May, so what exactly is the significance of this "out of the blue" report? why now? anyway, regardless i'm happy with progress, and i believe good profit will be achieved, and i believe this to be good news that will lead to dividends being declared to support a much higher share price, and maybe this is the reason these numbers have been released. | excellance
06/2/2020 14:49 | quite spectacular really, but no information on the cost side of things. copper and gold prices have been higher during this period too although copper price has fallen over the last week. i'm delighted with this report | excellance
06/2/2020 14:44 | well that production update came out of the blue, meanwhile Rambler remains well under the radar for now Rambler Metals and Mining plc (AIM: RMM) ("Rambler" or the "Company"), a copper and gold producer, explorer, and developer, is pleased to announce that for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2019 it achieved its highest annual saleable copper and gold production since FY2014, at 5,299 tonnes and 4,887 ounces respectively. These figures represent 27% and 17% increases over FY2018 saleable copper and gold respectively. H2 2019 saleable copper and gold totalled 2,675 tonnes and 2,438 ounces, representing a 2% increase and 0.5% decrease compared to H1 2019, and 12% and 5% increases over the same period a year ago respectively. The 2019 annual performance was supported by a 12% increase in mill throughput and 16% and 5% increases in copper and gold head grades compared to the previous year. | elpirata
06/2/2020 14:44 | News is promising. Well done RMM. What is the bottom line (profit) I wonder. Re rate incoming? merits it IMO | chinadog3
06/2/2020 14:10 | very positive production report and 2020 guidance, well done to them. surely this must mean a return to profit and a share price recovery? | excellance
06/2/2020 12:14 | you gone now cinoib? | excellance
06/2/2020 11:25 | cinoib, i know you've needed to sell recently, bad timing unfortunately, but i have been buying to help you out. I think 2p is a bargain and i also think the copper price will recover because life must go on despite this virus which in my opinion will only rally effect people who are already ill. | excellance
06/2/2020 07:24 | Copper is recovering and the coronavirus appears not to be escalating out of control. The Chinese authorities may have been slow to react, and that is always an easy criticism to make, but the later response has been spectacular. The problem now, with 30,000 cases, is lack of beds, meds, and testing kits. It seems western media isn't really sure if Chinese government numbers are reliable, due to censorship issues for example, but again it's an easy criticism to make. I hope your wife is safe and comfortable where she is and that she can get a flight home soon. | excellance
05/2/2020 18:06 | It's been very quiet on here. The company are remaining very quiet so nobody is getting excited and there is little or no trade of this stock. I have been very focused on Eurasia Mining as always. That is and always has been my number one holding. Interested in RMM because when EUA are bought out I'll need other horses to carry all the cash, and this is in the short list as is ALTN. I'm not really interested in the copper, it's the gold I want, but the copper should mean the company can adjust their plan depending on which metal is most valuable. | excellance
05/2/2020 17:10 | Your wife is a schoolgirl? | excellance
05/2/2020 14:45 | Ah the mysetry man appears, just when I thought I was all alone. Don't panic the copper price is recovering the so called virus isn't spreading any more outside mainland China, they have already isolated it so won't take to find a cure am sure and some of the infected ones are recovering. So where is the best pace to get an antidote. YES from those who have recovered as they will now have antibodies and will immune. I have no doubt it will happen again in the future bt who knows when or where.. 10,000 a year die in U.K. from one form of flue virus or another so don't panic mr Manering. Ebola is a far more serious problem if that ever broke out in an over populated modern city, then you can put on your tin hat. I have more worry than you as my wife just went back last week one day before they cancelled flights. She is now having to wait it out at home as all the schools are closed untill further notice. | cinoib
05/2/2020 00:04 | yes still here, and a little disappointed with the copper price. terrible news from China, looks like a disaster over there, 25,000 people infected, 500 dead, only 700 patients have been cured so we have to assume many more of those infected will succumb to the virus. entire cities on lock down, 50m people+ unable to travel. many countries cancelling flights to china don't panic, don't panic!! i am very worried...i fear the virus is now unstoppable and will kill millions of elderly people globally, tho mostly in asia and africa when it gets there. even here i think every family will suffer casualties including fatalities... so the question has to be, where did this come from? is it man made? could it have been avoided? what can we do to prevent future similar situations? | excellance
04/2/2020 14:39 | ex you still with us or not. China not doing us any favours with copper falling out of bed have had to 1/2 my holing as bought a farm and need to pay for it . hope we get production figures soon. | cinoib
28/1/2020 20:24 | Blame it all on fools who run around the world with a virus as the whole world is now taking the medicine. Just pray it slows down or stops soon. Copper just turned up for once in a week. Dow moving up nice, lets hope tomorrow is better as I need some good news as am well out just now and need to liquidate some to buy house and land. | cinoib |
