19/3/2015 14:19 | I would say so and the market thinks so too. Or can you see anything positive about making a loss and not saying anything bullish in the update? I note no mention of the investments in the other miners from the aspirational Leading Mine Operator and Resource Developer in Atlantic Canada. | lwaxf13
04/2/2015 13:58 | Once it finds a bottom they might humble themselves and lose the wishy washy strategy to become "The Leading Mine Operator and Resource Developer in Atlantic Canada" At what cost to shareholders will they pursue this? Was there even ever a coherent plan on how to achieve this? Were there $$$ and date deadlines attached to it so success could be measured? Wishy washy!!! If I was still a shareholder I would be seriously worried if they continued to chuck more cash into other miners. They will need all the cash they can get to stay afloat. It strikes me it's all about longevity of jobs and egos. Maybe a change at board level and strategy that includes shareholders will tempt me back in here. Though I am fully cognizant that the life of the Ming Mine is not eternal. Hence my previous posts; mine it, bank the cash, close it down, distribute the cash. End of. Good luck to all long term suffering shareholders. | lwaxf13
03/2/2015 15:21 | Copper seems to have found a bottom but Rambler hasn't yet ! | redhill
31/1/2015 13:53 | And another thing - well two things that cause me to have no confidence in the bod. 1) The only one with skin in the game is H Dobson. There is no record that I can find of any other director buying shares with their own cash. If the directors are not confident enough to dig into their own pockets then why would private investors be confident? So IMO it's just a monthly pay cheque. 2) The CEO has not run a mining company before. | lwaxf13
30/1/2015 18:27 | Glad I bailed in the 20s. I am not sure if this is a mining company or an investment company that throws money into mining companies aspiring to be the big kid on the block. I think they dropped the ball big time. How much are the investments worth in the other mines? Will they throw money around willy f'ing nilly in the future? I said in the past close up shop and distribute all cash to the company owners ... that's the shareholders, not the bod ;-) | lwaxf13
30/1/2015 11:17 | Im not invested here fyg Subtle. But it is a copper miner I follow. | fangorn2
30/1/2015 10:29 | If your willing to buy now & hold for several years you could be well rewarded. However this latest setback is one too many for me and after several years holding i've decided to cut my losses & depart. Good luck to all patient longs. | redhill
30/1/2015 10:19 | Double whammy ! | redhill
30/1/2015 08:47 | Not the greatest news this morning it has to be said... Hardly surprising Rambler off 31% "Due to the uncertainty in the copper price and an unforeseen decline in copper grade in January the Company has begun implementing short term cost cutting measures whilst it addresses grade and production issues" Significant decline in copper price during January Additional unplanned dilution of ore production stopes due to ground stability issues in the active stoping areas within the 1807 and MSUP zones have resulted in a decrease in the run of mine head grade over the last few weeks. | fangorn2
30/12/2014 23:08 | Henderson think differently though. | redhill
28/12/2014 17:15 | I have not held shares here for quite a few months. I got out as I could see nothing coming from the company to convince me they intended to return any shareholder value. It strikes me as more about prolonging jobs. Anyway, whilst doing a bit of across the board research ahead of 2015 I decided to look in on RMM. I was looking at Director Buys. Is it really the case that no director has bought any stock since ? 06/01/2011 David Dobson Buy RAMBLER 500000 32.90 8,238,000 8.6 If it's not good enough for the directors to dig into their own pockets and buy stock then it's not good enough for me. I will avoid for now. | lwaxf13
11/12/2014 13:29 | Now would be a good time to start some share buy backs. | redhill
27/11/2014 12:55 | I'd rather they paid a divi myself - straight to my bottom line, and it'd encourage other investors to take a look. Miners generally are being avoided, those that pay divis being the exception. | fangorn2
27/11/2014 08:52 | All looking good.I especially like the the idea of share buy backs. | redhill
01/11/2014 03:48 | Nice Buy recommendation in this week's Investors Chronicle could give the share price a boost next week | smackers prudentia
28/10/2014 10:52 | This one seems to be missed by many. Thought the results were pretty decent as well...but barely any movement at all in stock price. One to tuck away. | fangorn2
28/10/2014 09:46 | Great Results could well be the Catalyst needed for take off | smackers prudentia
24/10/2014 08:14 | Sorry, yes only 2.5 months, although that only gets us to just over 5000 for a quarter. Why would they be storing at the pit? They certainly won't have much finished product there. They store rock for processing there. | owenga
16/10/2014 16:14 | Its 2.5 months and you don't know what they have at the pit. | redhill
23/9/2014 07:25 | 5,400 wmt shipped. Looking at last shipment on 3 July had 1,400 wmt left in store. Now only have 330 wmt left. So in 3.5 months they have only produced 4,330 wmt. That's absolutely dreadful, given it is through summer months. Normal amount is about 6,000 per quarter. What is going on? | owenga
21/8/2014 14:06 | Sweet ".....to further consider dividend and other payback structures to reward our long term and dedicated shareholders" Share buy back or show us the money, since its not being reflected in the share price. | dr fillip strange |
