20/9/2021 12:34 | On funding, RNS states "Rainbow is not required to make an upfront payment for the Technology. A licencing fee of up to US$5.5 million will be paid for each project at which the Technology is deployed as part of the construction capital." So its more a question of funding the overall construction budget, for which this is now part. Thanks ASDB9 for that link to today's interview. Some nice further detail mentioned there like 20-30% increase in retained revenue for RBW, much simpler process down to 3 steps I think was mentioned, thus significantly lower capex/opex and so higher retrained profit for RBW, also mention royalty now likely to be around 2% (as a chemical process project) instead of 3-4% for a typical mining project, 1-off licensing fee of US$5.5M also reduces by $1M as the fee for each further project, down to $3M as a minimum per project. The one bit of news less welcomed is the expectation that the Preliminary Economic Assessment will now be end November instead of October, all down to impact of Covid on the Australia labs. | perfect choice

20/9/2021 11:47 | Glasswala, you're a broken clock | thelung
20/9/2021 11:43 | But what about cost of funding this??. This will mean a placing i believe! | glasswala
20/9/2021 08:34 | Agreed and subject to achieving a successful Preliminary Economic Assessment currently underway at Phalaborwa, this presents considerable upside to RBW. Some key comments in that RNS includes "realise a higher value from the separated rare earth products compared to the sale of a mixed rare earth carbonate as originally envisaged at Phalaborwa" and " the IP will enable Rainbow to participate efficiently in the downstream separation process, allowing us to capture the full rare earth oxide price for our material." So basically I read that as RBW gets more money for its output, owning the downstream element themselves. Also notice "for use on the separation of rare earth elements from phosphogypsum opportunities across the SADC region in Africa for an initial period of four years." and "excited to be in a position to utilise the Technology to secure an interest in other rare earth phosphogypsum opportunities in the region, where we believe tremendous value can be unlocked." So RBW looking for other prospects in the region outside of Phalaborwa? | perfect choice
20/9/2021 07:07 | Excellent news, should give the share price a nice lift this morning ! | 32campomar
