Ditto 134....however, this is an investment not a trade and one must allow the company strategy to develop.....buy good companies with good prospects and hold....should get news on commencement of trial mining in April.

Holding because nothing has changed in the investment case as far as I know. But I do wish I'd watched & waited for a better possible entry point. Progress update would be nice!

Perhaps we ought to go over to that bb and give them the virtues of RBW in which case!

hazl don't think Black Rock are involved at MKA but Noble have a decent stake in matters.

Does Blackrock have an investment in the others?
They are quite canny I would say and can afford to employ the best experts to research the likely worth of these companies going forward.

I would like to say albany villas that you cannot make a statement like that without some follow -up.
Please give us some facts as I am sure most of us would like to be ethical here.

Not disputing the valuation here sian, just trying to get a handle on the disparity with MKA. They too could have a fairly near term production revenue through it's links with Noble.
As I said in one of my previous posts I like the look of both but have taken a punt on MKA at the moment because of the lowly valuation compared to the assets potential.

Soulsauce 125 -

Take a look at the research note (link above) with regards to prospective near term production revenue....you may conclude the valuation is woefully on the low side...

I must say the valuation does look odd compared to MKA. I asked the question a while back but no one cared to offer a reason.

Companies not too dissimilar on REE front and MKA drilling for uranium and lithium too yet that only £3m mkt cap.

Not saying anything wrong just trying to get an understanding?

how about REM although its a share its more like an investment trust

its another way to play the REE's

Albanyvillas I would love to read a link on this - is this the Gambia govt connection you're referring to or Adonis Pouroulis?

More widely, don't know about minerals but for ETFs I've found ROBO-G to be a good one but don't use stops as it judders a lot. SUK2s are a bit laggy but not as much as SUK1s.

Although ETF'S are easier and I have used them, I have avoided them for some time
in recent years.
Probably being over-cautious but if there was a crisis I personally wouldn't be sure of them.
I cannot remember the source of my reading any more and I certainly dismissed them rather soon, so please don't let me put you off.

this is going to be making profits a lot more than it's market cap in a short time.

Finished the book - the first 10 chapters being a real eye opener and the 11th on policy etc.

But convinced that rare metals are going to be needed in greater quantities and have to apply the new found information in the context of RBW (and see if it adds up), but will seriously look into the ETF - REMX.

Good luck all :)

I think we need to find out more information about the debt position of this company.

From the company prospectus, page 78:

hxxp://www.rainbowrareearths.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Rainbow-Rare-Earths-Prospectus-25.01.17-FINAL.pdf

Capitlisation and Indebtedness

Secured debt: $1,723,000
Unsecured debt: $272,000

Total Indebtedness: $1,995,000

Not a great deal.

Follow up post from 93: 25 Feb 2017

still reading..."Elements of power" by David Abraham and finding it fascinating. Essential reading I would think for anyone interested in rare earth elements and metals - multifaceted approach to the various issues around the sector.

I'm thinking of buying a Rare Earth ETF as well...Van Eck do them. Looks like we are going to see a strong secular trend in rare metals...like biotech, IoT or cybersecurity and hence ETF offers a relatively risk free approach, than just buying into one company in one country.

Good luck all :)
